after you get up from ducking what looked like a flying FREAKING HUGE SERRATED BLADE!, you see a dragon scale armored (you're stating to wonder who doesn't have some kind of dragon scale mail up here) dwarf, with a massive axe in one hand. full-bearded.

It's obvious how we solve all of those problems. Psionically rip his beard off, Metamance his dragon scale armor into very cheap wooden armor, and Metamance his axe by our side so we can Axe him a question. Also make his muscles weaker with Metamancy.
