Also, lol @ RAM. Bad Blood bro, bad blood. ;D
What? I am not crafting this game. If I gather this turn I will die. Nobody put anything into the group inventory so now I have to take whatever was left behind. I even left an open invitation for anyone to save the entire group inventory at the cost of a single real item for me to trade...

I got a question. Why are you trying to trade things that have no influence?

Iceball, you're not in this cycle.

RAM, don't you think it's kind of rude to take the entire group inventory, especially when we have virtually nothing?

Well I tried to gather something, the dice just didn't feel like being generous...

Fine! I'll Gather again, and put all of that junk back into group inventory, I just hope it makes you happy...

Spoiler: World (click to show/hide)

wolfchild: Sarin, Crafter
I will Craft, to polish the purple rock with the water
Attempt roll: 37 + 20 = 57
Quality roll: 77
Influence roll: 83 + 77 + 15 (rock) = 175

You sit down at the bench and try once again to polish the rock, and without the shiny to distract you you fare considerably better. The end result is a smooth, shiny stone reminiscent of the end of a sunset.
-1 bluish-purple rock
-0.5L water
+57 stoneworking exp
+1 beautiful polished sunset rock !base influence 175!

Spoiler: Details (click to show/hide)

thunderclan: Fireheart, Crafter
I'll try my luck at Tradeing. ((assuming you're attempting to trade the statuette and box))
Attempt roll: 57 - 30 = 27

You aren't entirely sure what you expected to find, nor why sentient life would be living here, of all places. Clearly you were very optimistic.
+14 trading exp
Spoiler: Details (click to show/hide)

Criptfeind: Jorn, Gatherer
I will gather again.
Attempt roll: 90 + 20 = 110 (HOOOOOOOOLY CRAP.)
Quality roll: 18
Quantity roll: 100 (HOOOOOOOLY CRAP.)

Deciding that the rock that nearly killed you yesterday is worth investigating, you leap out of the ship and deliver a mighty kick to the boulder.

It shatters.

As you dust yourself off, you note that the inside of the rock was partially hollow - it was an enormous geode. The broken pieces sparkle with every gem you could name, and several you can't. Clearly you are very lucky.
+55 gather exp (LEVEL UP)
+8 multicoloured geode fragments !base influence 36 each!
+1 unusual aurora-like gem !base influence 65!
(storage) +29 multicoloured geode fragments !base influence 36 each!
(storage) +3 unusual aurora-like gems !base influence 65 each!

Spoiler: Details (click to show/hide)

LAAT501legion: LAAT, Gatherer
I grab 1L of water and I make another statue
Attempt roll: 53 - 10 = 43

Smug with pride, you plant yourself at your workbench and begin another masterpiece.

In seconds you appear to have been the victim of a water balloon assault. Hm.
-1L water
+22 liquid manipulation exp

Spoiler: Details (click to show/hide)

RAM: Ramington, Trader
I'll Gather again
Attempt roll: 74 - 10 = 64
Quality roll: 52
Quantity roll: 86

Determined to redeem yourself, you march out of the ship once again, and fall into the pit left by the rock. Strangely, the ground is actually springy enough to bounce you out of the hole and several metres away into a nearby pool of muck. Something tells you that this pool is inhabited by a pair of lampreys. Perhaps it's the pile of eggs and the pair of eel-like horrors latched onto your helmet.
+32 gather exp
+2 lampreys (1M, 1F) !base influence 40 each!
+12 lamprey eggs !base influence 20 each!

Spoiler: Details (click to show/hide)

Dwarmin: Desmond Blue, Peasant
Carve the teak log into a fascimile of a teak tree, than plant it in the soil.
Attempt roll 1: 90
Attempt roll 2: 85
Quality roll: 64
Influence roll: 27 + 64 + 10 (log) = 101

Determined to impose your will on the world, you force the log into the shape of a small tree, complete with leaves and ornamental bird's nest. Then you stick it in the soil.

Perhaps it would grow if you asked it nicely?
-1 teak log
-1m2 patch of grass (with soil base)
+45 woodworking exp
+43 gardening exp
+1 ornamental teak tree with soil base !base influence 101

Take the sand and CRAFT it into a glass drinking horn shape, with the end curling back so that it empties into the opening

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Hmm. I gotta an idea!

Anyone else think it would be good if we made some sort of group monetary system? Like Teak coins for example, 1 coin=10 Influence? Rounded to the nearest ten so we don't have to make pennies.

I propose, everything that's gathered and placed in the group inventory, the finder gets paid half of that items influence in coin for spending a turn gathering, and withdrawing from the group inventory, you pay the full price of that items influence back to the "bank".

Barter Economy sucks bigtime. If I'm crazy, then tell me. I didn't exactly think this out much...
