if you jutt stone out of the side of the chasm... you'd have 0 mana afterwards, and be left imobile the next turn as a result of Mana overdraw...

Fredrick the 23rd commands his elemental to attack the Grue, although it is a pure being of flame, it's not powerfull enough to blast through the thick hide of the Grue... Doyll tests his magikal abilities by enchanting Riftweavers boots to swiftly move him along [-5 Mana] It works, mostly... Riftweaver does a complex combat maneuver! [-5 Mana][-15 Darts] casting drain magic on the troll removes its hidden power! Regeneration! Unloading darts into the Grue only seems to agitate it, though it's bleeding from all the little holes in it's back... [Add Status: Bleed] Ochita also fires his crossbow, but at the troll (You really should focus on him first...) [-5 Bolts][-5 Health][Add Status: Bleed] Tilk stands around wondering what he can do...

The Grue, frustrated by the Elemental and the darts in it's back, cannot figure out what to do first, so it just attempts to slam the Elemental back into Oblivion... It fails to do so... The Troll, though still bleeding, plucks out the bolt shafts, [Remove Status: Bleed] and charges towards Riftweavers new position!

My creature is in the best position to distract the grue, and I think that a focused barrage from everybody else would likely kill the troll.

My flame elemental envelops the grue's head, hopefully momentarily blinding it if nothing else.

Ochita unleashes another round of bolts into the Troll [-5 Bolts][-5 Health] Riftweaver does the same [-25 Darts][-5 Health] Fredrick the 23rd commands his elemental to consume the head of the Grue, hoping to distract it! That is sucsessful but apparently the inside of it's mouth Isn't as tough as it's skin... [-2 Health] Doyll waves his hands around in the air like an idiot trying to get one of the monsters attention... Tilk does something meaningful however... [-5 Mana][Add Affect: Petrifyed] Guess there's a reason Grues are hiding in the dark...

The Troll, though now alone... Swings his Bastard Sword at Riftweaver. [-5 Health] He scores a deep gash into Riftweaver's shoulder.

Hmmm half my health gone in one hit but then again if we can do the same damage again this round we'll kill it I decide to run from the troll to keep out of reach of the sword and try to keep it close enough for my allies to kill it
