Oh no!  What happened to S+F+D?

Anyway, I watched the first episode.  It wasn't crazy hilarious like everyone was going on, but it was certainly better than the original series.  Most of the voices are pretty spot-on too, except Shaggy.

You noticed that too didn't you?

Fred's voice can devolve into a Garfield voice if you pay close attention.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Stop that. You'll give the fanfic writers ideas.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWvYN4ftNHs what is this I don't even

I know. I don't even know if it was good or bad. I'm just caught up wondering how they manage to shoehorn the Hex Girls into every new thing that involves Scooby-Doo. Coincidentally, according to a recent poll the leader of the band doesn't exist.

I know they were terrible in that one about the actually real witches.

Why is it every Scooby Doo movie, there has to be real monsters? It's bull.

I loved the real zombie scooby doo movie.  I kinda perfer the real monsters for the movies... it's like the fake monsters are only enough to get on tv.

The fake monsters are the whole point of the formula. And if you want real monsters in Scooby Doo, it should at least be left ambiguous as to whether or not it was an actual monster.

Finally caught an episode (looks like the second one).

It is more entertaining than the old ones I am more familiar with. Some of the schemes have a little more substance to them. Brock Samson as the police officer sold it though.

Funnily enough, 'Mr. E' is a nickname my family uses for my nephew alot. That struck me as funny, despite a forced pun in the show.

Ambiguity is an acceptable compromise.

Sheriff. He's a Sheriff. I feel it's an important distinction. Patrick Warburton's the man. He makes anything better with his soothing baritone.

Got to give credit to the Fred/Scooby Doo voice actor.  He's been doing it mostly since the show started.
