Though as people have noticed this version of Scooby Doo seems deadset on killing Velma's personality.
Are you implying that they ever had a personality to kill? She is still the awkward brain of the group who wears that sweater everywhere who is now somewhat desperate for a relationship.

She was a lot more rounded out in some of the later works. Though her personality now is much more extreme and the Zanyness is offsetting but she becomes more and more unlikable with each episode.

General zaniness seems to be a trend in this show. Balls to the wall and everything. After the episodes I've seen she isn't unlikeable, but I don't have any attachment to her.

Velma is my old favorite. Whats New Scooby Doo however did bring my like of Freddy up quite a bit so he would be in second place, but he hasn't changed much other then having an odd obsession and being dumber (though Mystery Incorperated sorta feels like a prequil, so I can take Freddy becoming more balanced)

Also kinda odd that Velma isn't doing much anymore... What ever happened to that?

Did you see the slime man episode? She was totally not a hostage. Did you see that? Amazing.

It doesn't last.

Though it isn't anything really new to the Scooby Doo series.

I've watched Episodes 1 and 2. I got a kick out of the "Traps Illustrated" thing. Also:

"You see that hole there? That should be an engine."

"Arrest them...even though I have absolutely no jurisdiction here!"
