Does anyone else find it hilarious that Daphne's older sister Delilah talks like a World War II veteran?

She was in the war of cooking, the calories were just so high....it was distasteful.

Apparently she cooks on the beach and has to save her men while doing so.

What I like about Fred is that he has the wild, creative abandon that is usually reserved for small children.

He also has an odd understanding of how relationships work possibly from observing his parents.

Which when you ignore the comedic aspects of the show is actually quite tragic when you think about it. In many ways he fully believed loving Daphne would destroy their relationship.

"We're supposed to be married Daphne, don't look so happy."  Yeah, that's almost too raw to just keep stringing along as a running joke.  I'll bet the inevitable second or third season does something with Fred's screwy notions of relationship.  Not that I care, but it will be fun to watch his tiny little mind blow a circuit.

The characters are supposed to have character flaws.  That's what makes them characters.

Scooby has spent his entire life with Shaggy, and has serious separation anxiety when he thinks Shaggy might prefer to spend time with someone other than him.  Sure, logically he could just let Shaggy spend SOME time with his girlfriend, but that's not how most psyches really work.  He's emotional.
Velma wants to spend time with Shaggy and is upset that he won't assert himself and choose her over Scooby.  Sure, she could just talk to Scooby about it and try to work something out, but she doesn't want that.  She wants to know no one is more important to Shaggy than herself.  Once again, emotional.
Shaggy is actually the most rational of the three, but he can't cope with how emotional the other two are.  He sees it logically, he can spend time with both of them.  But he fails to realize that there's much more to it than that.  Basically, he doesn't want to make a hurtful choice when he sees no reason to.

It's fucked up, but it's supposed to be.  That's how you write interesting drama.

Also, here's a preview picture of the newest episode that aired yesterday,

Show continues to be, in my eyes, neither great nor unwatchable.

I only saw the humongonaut one and the goblin one, though. Also team uniforms. I wonder if the original script called for fred to try and build a mecha?

Fred's idea of team uniforms - color coded Sentai racecar suits... with ascots.

Episode 9 is the most awesome yet, i mean this one features more sheriff than any other, and he is AWESOME in this one, like, totally, also UNIFORMS.
And, and:
Maybe i do.
Maybe i don't.

WHY
ISNT
THERE
NEW
EPISODES

Alright, so here we go.

Its been announced that there will be a new episode October 4th titled "Howl of the Frighthound".
Quote from: small blurb about it
A robotic dog starts to terrorize Crystal Cove and is framing Scooby.  Professor Pericles becomes an important part of this episode. Can the gang capture this mechanical menace before Shaggy's lovable dog is jailed?

Huzzah!

The parrot scares me. He lives in a glass dome inside a room that reminds me of Cerebro from X-Men. Also, this is only the second episode I've seen so I probably missed it in ealier episodes, but when did Fred learn to drive the van like he's in Freakin' Live Free and Die Hard?

Also, "Let's go gang. We'll hide in that abandoned factory near all the dangerous machinery" wins. And did Scooby have a freaking Robot Battle with a Terminator Dog!? Scooby is hardcore.

I'm actually interested to see what happens with Velma and Shaggy. That little sub-plot still holds some promise, even though Shaggy picked a dog over her.
