That, and about what madness will spring from the depths next.

Considering this is FailCannon, it would be easier to answer the question "What madness won't spring from the depths in the following year?"
Considering who the next Overseer is, the question should be "How long until time has to get rewinded again? Ha!

... Remind me to kill you on the next opportunity.

Can I have a turn and be dwarfed? I would prefer a swordsdwarf please.

Hurpadurp when I was checking out the save I actually opened an older one.

This one only has 5 live dorfs, all of them already named, and none of them me :V

That is totally not good for the kind of narration I had in mind.

Hopefully migrants are coming. Just have the gods (Andreus?) give you temporary powers of clairvoyance.

Or Catalyst could project visions to you.  Or you could be visited by the ghosts of the literally hundreds and probably even close to a thousand dead dwarves of the fortress.

By the way, anyone experiencing crashes when their turn comes up - are you attempting to use a graphics pack?  I noticed this problem at first - it's important to selectively re-copy some of the Object files from the original save over the ones installed by LNP to prevent crashes.  You can copy the ones from the save wholesale, but then the tiles will look funky - I tried using just the Inorganic, plant, item, and other such world-related ones from the graphics pack and otherwise the Failcannon save files (most importantly Entity Default and Reactions), and it worked out pretty well.

Edit in response to Urist: Holy Carp One Year!  I suggest temporarily changing the topic to reflect this.

I opened up the Unread Replies page and saw that you were the last poster. I got scared. Something about you posting scares me, ever since Failcannon.

BTW, catalyst, it seems that i'm not able to open the compressed archive. Or at least winrar can't. I haven't had any problems with the other saves, it's weird..

One year of failcannon. Holy carp.

Yay I'm on the turn list! Just be aware this is my first succession game, so my narration may not be the best. Of course, this is assuming we make it to my turn.

I would be surprised if we don't, barring HFS involvement.

EDIT: No, I am not saying we're ready for HFS yet.

So, we won't make it, then?
