His sentence is relatively short, and it looks like Seth succeeded at provisioning the jail fairly well.  But, as you say.  This IS Failcannon after all.

... I just now finally saw Seth's warning about Takua.  *facepalm*  I should really work on my skills of careful reading.  I was rushing to catch up with the thread in time for my turn, I guess.

Incidentally, I did what I could to restore framerates right before the end of my turn.  The pump is shut off, animals are slaughtered,and at least a few routes have been simplified.  The ghosts haven't been laid to rest yet but should be soon.  This may have cost maybe a day or two of spring, but no more than that.  I hope the framerate proves playable for others.

Edit: of course, the loyalty cascade did more to "simplify" things than I ever could.

Wow, I finally managed to reread the whole thread and reach the current state. What you guys did so far is just...beyond epic. I didn't even think that some of those events were even possible, even in Dwarf Fortress. @.@

Anyway, I would be honered if I could get another redorf when it is possible again, since I already lost my second dwarf a few years ago. Name is "Feilcis" and the title and profession as you wish (Marks- or Fisherdwarf preferred though).

Seeing how it all turned out with the epic suspenseful turn and the fort managing to live, I'm kind of glad you missed it.  Hopefully it was all as fun as it looked.

Oh don't get me wrong, I am too.  It was clearly better this way :-D  I certainly had an enormous amount of fun and also Fun - and probably annoyed all my non-DF-playing friends by rambling about the game constantly.

Can't wait to see the next turn, and the next 5 after that.  I'm curious what different approaches each person will take to the fort and to writing about it.  That, and about what madness will spring from the depths next.

Considering this is FailCannon, it would be easier to answer the question "What madness won't spring from the depths in the following year?"
