Turn 58: Battle Mechs don't die easily
That mech is harder to kill than a roach I guess
Anyways, the epic attack fail which was so epic that I didn't bother to do a dodge roll for the mech, started the whole chain reaction in this turn.
Hit the sonovabitch with a storm of illusions, attempting to blind it
[2]You attempt to hit the mech with a storm of illusions by making your illusory mages fire at it, but instead they freeze in the middle of the firing proccess. You stare at the frozen illusions and go "What the hell??"
Well, if I can't get in... Run up to the head and impale it's cameras, Shadow of The Collosus style.

Running straight up the mechs back you quickly find the cameras, smash and impale them, completely disabling it's visual capabilities. It is now completely blind, until it activates other sensors.

Furious, the mech attempts to grab Dragnar and instead plunges its claws into its head and procceeds to rip the head off in a shower of sparks and pieces of flying metal. Luckily, Dragnar was able to hop off the mech before it decapitated itself, and created some distance between the mech and himself just as Torc fired on it.. Deprived of many sensor modules and some decision making algorithms, it suddendly freezes, waiting for something....
this game really does not like Torc's leg
Healing Fire. Also fire ball the mech if there is time to.

[6]While you make your way out of the cluster of boulders, you use healing fire, which heals the broken leg completly. Soon, you are out of there and in a direct line of sight with the mech. Taking the opportunity, you charge up a concentrated cylinder of fire so hot that the stream incinerates the air around it and fire. The plasma stream is so powerful that the mechs upper right arm is blasted away. Most of it was atomized and any pieces left are molten. Due to the heat, the lower arm gets scorched as well as part of the torso armor.
Blast the mech with a lightning bolt.

With an equally powerful display of destruction, you unleash a powerful ligntning bolt that completely fries nearly all of the electronics, leaving it a dead, smoking, hulk.

[4]Not caring that it is a dying hulk, you charge at it and smash the ankles (or what you think are ankle joints) until you are satisfied that you killed it by tearing off the mechs feet.

[3]Emulating a rage against the machine, you climb on top of its back and whack it several times with your sword. You then admire your artwork of smashed up armor plates.

With a spasm and a burst of speed, the mechs three functional arms catch anybody nearby by surprise, which just happens to be Arngrim and Jorn. One arm thrashes into empty space while the other two grab Arngrim by the leg and Jorn by his right arm. Either through luck or because the mech is dying, they don't sustain much damage beyond some cuts.
