« on: August 08, 2010, 09:01:44 pm »

hello folks i decided to really to start my first succesion game. the turns will be the timelimit of your choice up to  a year. the map is half treeful/haunted and a half treeless/wilderness/mountain so if we want seeds or wood well have to go into danger. please tell me what you want your dorfs name to be and his skill. . I am also a noob at the game, so this should be interesting. if im doing anything wrong please tell me because once again this is my first succesion game.

1.me( a year and my name will be my own proffesion: expidition leader/Mason
2.cappstv( a year) name:own
3.ottottott(a year, name: ott profession: engraver/furnace operator/mechanic/architect
4.ibagel(a year,miner)
5.noodle
6.
7.

edit: also i would like other noobs instead of pros to make it more interesting

Well I don't know if to consider myself a noob or not... (BTW I think noob is kinda' harsh. noob, newb, newbie, new guy. That is where the word noob came from. Still many use noob as an insult. So if I would call myself something (Of those options.) then I would call myself a newbie.) Anyways... I would take turn 3 for the maximum amount of time. Oh and I haven't seen this pick a dwarfs name and skill thing. Do you mean that you won't start until you have 7 players and everyone has chosen a name and a skill and then you put those names and skills as the starting 7 dwarves skills? If it is that then I think it's not a good idea. You should choose the skills yourself. The names have no effect however so I don't see a reason to mess with them.

Noob doesn't mean the same thing newbie does.

Noob is an insult, newbie isn't.

I said to put me for a year. Well... I guess you can use one that is named Ott. Make him a mechanic/furnace operator/architect/engraver. Since there is 10 points per dwarf use 3 for mechanic, 3 for engraver, 2 for furnace operator and 2 for architect.

editedit: ive found a place thats hard enough to be intertaining but easy enough to give us a chance.

I always like knowing what's going on. If you could then I would like to see the picture of the embark screen. (The one where you actually choose a location from the map and click embark not the one after already choosing the location.) Then also a picture of the dwarf screen. (Actually it might be better if you could just say how much each dwarf knows what.) And a picture of the items screen. Thank you!

ill take position 5.
Name my dwarf Noodle and I prefer to be a mechanic, but if that spot's already taken, then I'll be a masterful mason.
