It's probably the rest of the tribe. They probably don't like us right now. Though they do seem to be stuck on the island. WE NEED A CANOE!

Go home while looking for a nice, wide tree. Remember location while you get your toolkit and ax. Return to it. Chop it down. Make a dug out canoe.

Wouldn't you want paddles as well? This river is flowing very strongly, and I'm not going to even have the spoiler announced at all......

Memorize what the construct looks like, note your position, then head home. Chop off some more wood and make: crude wooden chest platex2, and crude wood/bark arm guardsx2

Well yeah, but we need a canoe first. Then we can make some paddles.

That is just silly.....

You decide to head home, partly because you dont know how to swim, and mostly because you dont wnat them to know you saw them. When you get back home, you think up a plan to make a river-faring vessel, but using your already fallen tree would mean giving up half of the defense that you made making that wall... you also decide to stop chipping all of your larger-than-branch wooden needs, it is getting quite thin...

So, you set out to chopping down a few more trees, what a lumberjack you are, you fell a couple across the river, and they roll down to the river, blocking it momentarily, then the water just starts flowing around it..... the first one you strip of all it's brnches and clean off the bark, which you put in your wood pile, you hollow it out with a few of your tools, it starts to go down river, but you pull it out of the water... the second one takes the first's place in the middle of the river.

The second one is a little harder to deal with, you clen off all the branches and bark, but then dont know how to procede to make suitable oars..... without them flowing away when your done...

Can't we just pull the fallen tree out of the water?

Or chop a limb off and make an oar out of it?

Instead of using the whole tree for oars, you lop off some of the larger branches, and start whittling away at them, you do eventually get 2 oars, but they dont look very sturdy, better not be using these as weapons...

When you get everything ready to set off, you realize what time it is, it's almost dusk! and your getting pretty hungry...

Head home, gather any seasoning you see on the way back. Once home make some deer meat stew.

You decide to leave the trip for tomorrow, and gather some more seasonings, and scoop up some water with the water bladders. You mix it all, along with some of the meat from the deer, and cook up a hearty stew. Naish'na found some reeds growing in the fertile lands upriver, and have managed to make them into a paper-like sheet, though long and complicated, it is alot better to use than the stone slabs she has been using to write and draw... She just needs to find something that will show up on her sheets.

After the stew is finished cooking and the two of you slurp it down like the animals you are elegantly dine upon the delicous meal that was prepared. The two of you watch the sun set from atop your cave, then head in for the night.

...

It's strange, you didn't dream tonight, yet things have drastically changed, you do however think that the dreams are all related, and are prophetic in some way, though you can't see how they could all come true...

...

...

...

...

...

You awake to the sound of rain, and look outside to check out the torrent of rain that is coming down... you look out and see your canoe start to flow away... along with the rest of that tree you made the oars from.....

Run and try to catch the canoe. Jump in the water if needed, but only if it's less than 1.5m deep. (Don't wanna drown, do you?)

Run down and do that in a idiotic and comedic manner, just make sure you save the canoe in time.

We need to learn to swim ASAP

You sprint off after your prized creation! You run ahead of it, almost to the river-junction, and wade out to the middle of the river, ready to wrestle the canoe off to the side. It comes at you pretty fast, you can barely hold your ground, you are about to get it out of the way, when the tree comes straight for you.....

It smacks the canoe, and topples you over, you manage to hold your grasp on the conoe, and pull yourself into it. The oars have been banged up, but should still serve their purpose... you row like you have never rowed before in your entire life... which only bangs up the oars even more, while getting you nowhere... The island and it's inhabitants, float pased you...

Well, now what?
