Just dig out a hole in the ground by a tree with our hands to hide in then. Cover it with leaves so we don't get completely bombarded by rain in the night.

Go further upstream from where our camp is and wade across. We want that nice warm fire in that nice warm cave with that really 'nice' lady next to us.

You contemplate about digging another hole in the ground, but then you think that the floodplanes might be shallower for you to cross. You run upstream, and they are, but you sink down to your ankles in the mud. Managing to wade across water up to your waist with mud up to your ankles is not very easy to do, you spent most of the time just trying to get your feet out of the ground. You do manage to make it across without dislocating a foot, and then run home, as all of your clothing is wetter than water...

Once you get home, the rain stops, and you find a paniking Naish'na staring out at you.....

Play it cool. Swagger your way to the cave and act like absolutely nothing out of the ordinary has happened.

You play it cool, explain what happened in a non-chalont way, acting like you sisn't almost die several times... then you get a weird feeling in your gut... Naish'na slaps you, and you pass out from the extreeme lieing you just did...

...

You wake up nude... You smell some stew cooking... and you hear some humming...

You take a peek outside, Naish'na is doing something with a vine and a few long poles... It looks kinda like your drying rack, only higher off the ground, and it wont be able to support as much weight... Ah, there are your clothes, being hung up to dry... they were quite wet. So you just sit inside and eat some soup.

Blegh! It hasn't been seasoned yet... you do so immediately...

Haven't we always eaten our stew unseasoned?

Oh yeah, we haven't gotten past eating the stew. Ask what Naish'na made while we were nonchalantly being dragged to a waterfall of death.

Though she just made it, bob doesn't know that, so whatever...

When Naish'na walks back in you ask her what she built, and why is it constructed in such a flimsy way. She glare at you for a moment, then downs a bowl of soup, and walks back outside. You wonder what is with her, then think of something to do for the rest of today..... You dont come up with anything, so you just eat your portion of the soup, and start playing around with the paper. The only thing that could leave a mark is limestone, and that is the same color as the paper, so it doesn't show up... you think about the red colored sticky stuff, should name that soon, but this seems silly as you would get the stuff all over your hands, and that would be an unnessecary risk for such a menial thing...

Get a stick. Cut some of your hair off. Tie the hair together into a small tuft. Attach the tuft to the stick. Call this a brush. Use it with the red stuff, now called paint.

Let it be so.
