Screw that store. I hop in my car and fiddle with my watch till it finds the rest of the group, then drive to them.

At DragonCon till Tuesday. Dunno if I'll be on. If not, someone play me.

Buy five packages of gun scrap and make a reprogramming tool that works from afar.

UPD: You're a fine GM, but you really need to do rolls more often or this game dies of boredom before we hit Turn 20.

Trade in Plasma Blade for holo-shield (and I know this will be risky but...) then ask one of my new mechanicaly inclined partners to interface the two shields together to make them work in sync, hopefully increasing protection abilities, while keeping power drainage at a nominal level...

Turn 6: Negotiator
Trade in Plasma Blade for holo-shield (and I know this will be risky but...) then ask one of my new mechanicaly inclined partners to interface the two shields together to make them work in sync, hopefully increasing protection abilities, while keeping power drainage at a nominal level...

6) you walk up to the counter of the shop, thinking about what you want to get. It’s an important choice after all. You only have 100$. Looking at the shelves, you get an Idea. Why not sell the plasma blade you got at the armory? That would be an extra hundred in your pocket. You pull out your blade and, mustering all the negotiation skills you have you plop the blade on the table and tell the person that it is a limited edition plasma blade passed down through your family.

6+1=6) the cashier believes you completely and takes the blade off your hands for $589.95!! You quickly buy a shield with your money. Now that you have your shield you decide to ask Kilikan to help with making it a bit stronger by combining your two shields.

He starts working for a bit but then stops and gives it back to you.

Inventory: $500, -Plasma Blade, +Kilikan Shield Scrap
+7 negotiating

Eh  not bad, but on a purchase roll critical failures shouldn't be so harsh, now on the other hand if you wanted to roll for my building first, and have me blow my arm off, I'd be okay with that.

Trade in Plasma Blade for holo-shield (and I know this will be risky but...) then ask one of my new mechanicaly inclined partners to interface the two shields together to make them work in sync, hopefully increasing protection abilities, while keeping power drainage at a nominal level...
Do this for evergod.

3) without any money you really don’t have anything to do so you start sulking around the front door. After awhile Evergod comes up to you with a brand new shield and a junky shield and asks you to combine them to make a stronger shield. Eager to help, you take out your reformer and get to work on the items. 3) you start working quickly but it becomes apparent that this job will need more time. You give back the partially assembled Kilikan Shield Scrap to Evergod until you can finish.

+3 Weapon Mechanics

Screw that store. I hop in my car and fiddle with my watch till it finds the rest of the group, then drive to them.

At DragonCon till Tuesday. Dunno if I'll be on. If not, someone play me.

6) you don’t pay attention to the store being robbed. Bounty hunters lookout for themselves anyway. You start fiddling with your watch, trying to get it to do something when you find out how to track other watches. Unfortunately, after that meeting the Striker captain gave, there are about 75 watches in Mangaline and you don’t know which ones are your teammates.

Buy five packages of gun scrap and make a reprogramming tool that works from afar.

UPD: You're a fine GM, but you really need to do rolls more often or this game dies of boredom before we hit Turn 20.

2) you buy five packages of gun scrap but you aren’t really sure what to do with it. you start juggling because the GM can’t think of a way to make this go bad.

Inventory: 5 Gun scraps, -$50

Screw this expensive crap. I'm going to wait in the car, tell me when you guys are done shopping.

You go wait in the car (everything in your turn was a free action.)

Environment: suddenly everybody’s watches light up, displaying the alert sign. Apparently you have to go back to the police station for a mission!!!

Back at the station, the full assembled Rust corps. The Captain is briefing you guys.

“Choice number one: two armed men have recently robbed an appliance store. Normally this would not be too terrible if it wasn’t for those two being the Robot Renegades. They work for the robots and we need you guys to catch them. (+100 team Exp., +$300 for team funds, +$50 for each member, +???)

Choice number two: gain inteligence on a gang in south Middle Mangaline. (+50 Team Exp., +$50 for each member, +???)

Choice number three: Travel to upper mangaline and do crime watch. (Varies, but low rewards.)

Let's hunt down some renegades.

Nearly forgot about this. I'm glad it's not dead.

One last exchange...

Trade my knife for one of the 'generic' blades, then go back to our vehicular transportation device and procede to wherever the driver takes us.

Okay guys, I'm going to go ahead and start the turn, but I've been thinking of something... The Future is Yours doesn't seem like such an awesome name anymore. I'm asking you guys if you want to change it and what it should be.

Turn 7: Oops...
Get back in the car, and continue working on the shield from evergod

3) not really caring about what mission you do, you go back outside and get back into paranatural’s car, glad that he forgot to lock it before he went inside. You consider finishing your work on Evergod’s shield but you don’t feel like going back inside to get it.

Vote for Renegade-killing action, help Kilakan with the shield.

1) You recall that kilikan had started work on a shield for evergod but never finished it. you go to kilikan to help but find that he’s not working on it right now. Somehow you feel its better you don’t help though, having one of those I-rolled-a-one feelings, you know?

One last exchange...

Trade my knife for one of the 'generic' blades, then go back to our vehicular transportation device and procede to wherever the driver takes us.

5) somehow the laws of physics bend and replace your plasma knife with a regular plasma blade. You feel as if it’s that great GM in the sky’s way of apologizing for the abrupt scene transition.

Inventory: -plasma knife, +plasma blade

(everybody else either didn’t post an action or  just voted.)

Environment: after choosing to hunt down the Robot Renegades, you are told to head to the appliance store and investigate.
