THE UNDERDOG IS SUPPOSE TO WIN
STUPID MINOTAUR

The only way the underdog would win in this case would be if he got choked on (like a rottweiler choking on a chihuaha)

Huh... I couldn't get it to reproduce today, but if a wrestler grabs someone by a piece of armor there's a chance that armor will be ripped off and then the poor sap will be beaten to death with it. Armor will not save you!  :P

blast, trolls seem to have quite an advantage with their size...
next tournament i shall invest in some gauntlets, also. being disarmed (quite literally) is a horrible way to go.

Edit: after studying closely, i got 2 hits in, both of them were parried...  blast!

Seeing how the fights against the huge races have gone so far I'm glad I went for a larger than average fighter- but I'm feeling that perhaps I should have gone even bigger. Perhaps some rebalancing is in order, though it's too early to jump to conclusions.

accurate, reliable conclusions require time, though.

Match 6

Urist mcdeadude versus kilakan
Managed by Dwarf mc dwarf and kilikan

Urist mcdeadude, a Human from a poor village called the "Steppe of Luxuries", has a reputation for absent mindedness and brutal sadism. Before the match, his "friends" encouraged him to catch his bundle of cats weeks before the tournament began, so he wouldn't forget. And he did so - he caught a cat a day for two weeks straight before the tournament - and then proceeded to eat each one while it was still alive. (The Local population braced themselves for another "cat 'polsion," as they misinterpreted the nature of the yowls.) Luckily his friends, who had already bet heavily on him, managed to round up the required cats for him just before sign-ups closed.
kilikan was vile creature whose origins were unknown to the onlookers. Somehow he had acquired(stolen, no doubt) a large admantine dagger which he now waved around menacingly.
The fight began. Urist mcdeadude was armed with a mace and hit the gremlin in the left hand, shattering it! Kilikan, already in great pain, missed the human. Urist mcdeadude continued the beat down shattering bone after bone in kilikan's feeble body. Soon kilikan fainted, and Urist had the opportunity to end the fight swiftly. He didn't. He methodically probed the Gremlin's body with his mace in an attempt to break everyone of its bones. Finally, there wan only one left: with a mighty swing of his mace Urist mcdeadude shattered the Gremlin's skull, ending its life. The cheers from a group of men in the stands could be heard clearly above the rest.

The damage was far worse by the end

Urist mcdeadude is victorious, and advances to the next round!
