Pisano vs. The Substitute
Managed by Pisano and Flagrarus
Immediately after the battle began, Pisano, the crossbow wielding dwarf, fired two bolts at the charging human with his bronze crossbow. The bolts zoomed past The Substitute's head without leaving a scratch. By the time the last bolt hit the opposite wall, the Maul wielding human made it across the ring where the now quivering Dwarf stood. The Substitute began bashing away at the helpless dwarf, producing multiple hits! Pisano was knocked over and took more hits while lying prone on the ground. But somehow, he managed to get off another shot with his crossbow and the bolt lodged into The Substitute's right lung! The human, in extreme pain but seemingly unfazed, hit the dwarf a dozen more times with his cruel weapon. But then the pain overcame him, and he fainted! The bloodied dwarf managed to get off two more shoots, and the second one landed true - a direct hit to the Human's heart! The Substitute, knowing he has only moments of life left, managed to get off one more great swing at the dwarf, shattering its rib cage. But it was too late, the Human died of blood loss. Seconds later, death overtook the dwarf as well.

Pisano is Victorious and advances to the next round!

Kobold Fale versus Om Nom

Kobold Fale the Kobold(duh) and Om Nom the Snakeman meet in the 3rd match! The gladiators, both melee fighters, headed towards the center of the ring. The crowd laughed allowed at Om Nom, who wore one large iron boot on his scaly tail, and had to hop towards his opponent. Kobold Fale, encouraged by his opponent's awkward gaunt, attacked first. But the pick went wide and Om Nom, who was far more agile than he appeared, tried to bite Kobold Fail in the chest! Luckily for Kobold Fale, the blow was defelected by his bronze breastplate. The fight went on for a time with neither opponent making contact with the other, until at last Om Num charged his opponent and knocked him over. Om Nom then grabbed Kobold Fale's front tooth(he has a rather noticeable overbite) and the right arm, and tried to bite the Kobold in the right leg, but could not penetrate the armor. They continued to grapple, and the Kobold had trouble staying on his feet. Kobold fale is being worn down - and the Serpantman has a firm hold on his pick hand so he can't respond. Om Nom continues to bite away, and final his teeth penetrate deeply into the Kobold's left arm and he injected his venom. The Poison paralyzes Kobold Fale, and Om Nom starts to shake the life out of the limp body. Kobold Fale succumbs to unconsciousness and Om Nom begins to eat him alive(or so it appeared to the crowd, who watched entranced). Eventually Kobold Fale's breathing slowed, and then stopped. Om Nom slithered around the ring in celebration.

Om Nom is Victorious, and advances to the next round!
