Using spoiler tags just to keep this tidy, I'm not suggesting you don't look.  You've got, like, communicators and stuff.
Note: I hit preview after completing "Team Awesome's" writeup and got a could-not-find-server.  I hit back and the post box was blank.  I made a dark bargain and hit forward, which was successful.

I enter a firing stance and begin firing upon our arrival at ... Whoever we're shooting.

The tram zips through a maze of twisty passages, all alike.  Occasionally you turn corners right in front of closed doors, only for them to shoot open at the very last second.  The tunnels are dark, lit only by dull red fixtures at long intervals.

Finally the tunnel ends, opening up into a gigantic spherical chamber a few miles wide.  It is filled with an elaborate crystal lattice, long strands of glowing crystal which intersect and split throughout the entire space.  You see all the colors of the rainbow, and then some, dancing from node to node.
"Mi casa... es su casa." quips D.

The tramline continues on to the center of the core, where a cobalt blue sphere rests suspended by the crystals.
"That's the Core Logic Center.  The battle is raging inside, and it isn't going well for, well, me."  D speeds the tram to its destination.

One final airlock flushes open, barely clearing in time.  The tram screeches to a halt inside, throwing you all against the front window, then you fall to the floor as artifical gravity kicks in.  The inner doorway opens.

A cyberdemon towers over the rows of dark crystal processors.  Several have been smashed to bits.  Dead lesser demons lie everywhere, many of them partially embedded in the computing racks.

You hear a primal scream of rage, but not from the cyberdemon.  Acikera is leaping from one of the processors to the thing's head, swinging a depleted chaingun like a club.  He is covered in blood, sparks are flying from his backpack, and his left arm isn't supposed to bend that way.

You all manage to extricate yourselves from the floor as the tram door opens.

I psionically scan for large amounts of life in the surrounding area.

With the exception of your motley crew, the surrounding area is quite devoid of life.

You throw together a monument to non-existence out of the twisted wreckage and corpses still falling from the sky.  Climbing it, you see ocean to the south and east, and a road heading northwest into forest.

loot shit.

You don't see any.
You do, however, find the blasted remains of a store.  Its cellar is partially intact.  Within you find some a collection of wooden weapons and armor, and several bags full of pressed metal discs.  Perhaps some sort of primitive currency.

I dance amid the ruins. With any luck, BM being happy will draw any evil in the area down on my head.

Black Mage attempts to lay his own beat as he hammerslides through the rubble-strewn crater.
The heaviest rubble has already fallen, but a wooden hammer falls from the sky onto his head.  It is painful but not crippling.  White Mage would be proud.

Ugh, has it been nearly a week?  My bad.  The time has been... interesting, mainly in good ways.  I should have a chance to finish the turn tonight, it's half-done already.
