Oh, there was a one-eyed stray in my back yard once. There's lots of neighborhood dogs, so I guess that was what did that.

And then there was that one time my dog brought back a stray cat in her mouth when coming inside (she's pretty territorial to other animals, especially nowadays). The cat was good at playing dead, but certainly alive, though with a broken leg. I carried it back out of my yard so the dog wouldn't get any ideas. The cat was oddly compliant, which made me a bit sad, but it bounded away pretty impressively once I put it down.

... what the hell are they doing wherever you're at, Dutch? I went through two or three years of dorms and the only time the fire alarms went off were for drills.

Everyone has his own kitchen. Those kitchens have a very good smoke detector but basically no ventilation.

I actually just found it. He basically said "fuck grammar" and Elephant Parade ran off crying.
LSPglish no longer bothers me. LSPglish has a different sentence/paragraph structure than English, but LSP doesn't really make any mistakes. Disliking LSPglish would be like disliking another language.

So, after drinking for a long, long while premium, expensive pu-erh, I gave a try to the cheap stuff that they sell at the supermarket.

I swear to the Fates that I did not recall it tasting so vile, back before I refined my tastes...

Can't be worse than cheap baijiu. You know, the kind of stuff you buy in plastic bags. I'm not shitting you...there are places in China where you can buy what is essentially sorghum moonshine in a bag. For people too poor to afford a glass bottle, but who still want to re-enact the Cultural Revolution on their brain cells.

Although I've never been a big fan of pu-erh to begin with. Or hot tea in general.
