Screw consoles. DF doesn't run on consoles. If it did, the sheer number and impracticality of the menus would compact into some kind of singularity anyway.

Pretty sure it could run on consoles. Iirc, they had linux running on one of the more recent playstations. You got that, plus one of those plug in keyboards, and you're good to go. Doubt it would run well, considering the hardware, but it'd probably run.

Yeah, the PS3 (which is the one they were running Linux on,) is basically a box with a little bit of ram (256 MB, although it's got a super high speed bus,) a custom-Cell processor (lines up to be a very weak octo-core,) and a halfway decent video card. PS4 is rocking dual-quad core APUs (graphics built into processors,) and 8GB RAM. I bet the PS4 could handle a pretty hefty DF game, given that it's not wasting a ton of resources on Windows.

Managing the small community that has appeared around my Minecraft texture pack. Nowadays I have a handful of people who regularly help work on the pack. Found out textures made by one of them weren't his and had been stolen from another pack. Claims he found them somewhere and thought they were free to use, only gets a warning from the admins. Just now posted more textures which are also stolen from another pack. No idea why he is doing this as previously regularly posted decent work of his own.

I'm well aware of that. It's also got a RAM usage limit of about 2GB. PS4's clock is about 2.7GB, and it's got plenty enough RAM to do whatever in DF.
