Had to go from using SQLite on my streamlined Linux machine to using MS Access 2003, on a significantly slower machine. Yikes. The terminal interface looks positively friendly when compared with the somewhat obtuse GUI. I am once again reminded why I no longer use Windows.

Woke up with some horrendous cough that won't go away.
Nothing else feels wrong with me so I have no idea if I'm actually sick or not.

I didn't want breakfast anyway.

I woke up an almost never-ending cough some night ago.
I suspect that somehow, a mixture of snot (I had a runny nose at the time) and saliva had gone in in my lungs as I slept.
It felt terrible for hours and I could barely get any sleep.

My morning began with stepping in poop.  Then both kids being loud and waking up their mom who stomped out and yelled at us all.  Then apocalypse in my digestive system.  Then all of the above making me 30 min late to work.

Oh man one time I was sick with a secondary infection from seasonal allergies. I was in the shower and after the steam loosened my nasal passages a bit I blew my nose on one side: bright yellow snot. Then blew my nose on the other side: bright green snot.

I wonder if the two civilizations were at war somehow and I, an unnoticed third participant, ended it catastrophically.
