They really want to hire a robot but can't afford one.
^THIS is the real answer in that.
Forget being human, you are nothing to them. They don't want people, they want drones.
And I swear to god I'm going to friggin' murder my co-worker if he leaves without doing his god-damn job again.
I've told the manager about it EVERY DAMN TIME, and it used to be that they'd just blow it off like "whatever". But now they're actually defending him, and making the most bullshit excuses I've ever heard to do so. I'm sorry, but when I'm supposed to have 12 of a certain product (which, for understanding purposes, usually lasts about 4 days before we go through all 12) and I have none of them, for the third time in a row, and the manager wants to say that "we used them all after he made them, it was busy" when I know for a fact (because I'm the ONLY DAMN PERSON WHO DEALS WITH IT) that no, we did not if fact use up a half-week supply in 2 hours.
I really hate my job, if you can't tell.
Well, that's not true, I hate my co-workers, the job itself isn't all that bad.
This reminds me of my work today, stocking the back cooler. Somebody apparently can't tell the difference between diet and regular sodas, even when they have clearly different labels, and stuff was stacked on the back shelves in bizarre places and a lot of unrelated products were stacked on top of each other.

I don't think it was one of my co-workers, though, since they all seem to be very competent people. We have a lot of outside vendors come in and, when I was looking for some Coke bottles, I found them buried under some crates of Pepsi products, leading me to believe the Pepsi guy did it. It turns out the cola wars didn't end, they're just fighting a cold war these days.

-snip-
I know this feel. I'm all but certain that I'm the only one who checks for certain things in the medication rooms. They're all fairly "minor" things, in that they won't lead to errors if the nurses are paying attention, but they're things we're explicitly supposed to do, and I know two relevant facts. One, most of the coworkers who skip these things do have time to get them done, and two, nurses are outrageously overworked as it is and so anything we can do to reduce the number of mistakes they can make is going to reduce the number of mistakes they do make.

I don't think I'm going to survive my parents.  If I looked on the outside like I feel on the inside I wouldn't have any skin left and all my bones would be broken.

My soul will be small enough soon to drown in the bathtub.
Well you're still awesome, and if there's anything we can do to throw you a tiny little kitten-sized life preserver, I'm pretty sure it will be done. E-hugs are dispatched in your direction.

Godamnit, I'm still receiving bills 6 months later for my last set of visits and my procedure. When does this shit stop coming ><
In my experience, exactly when you have negative dollars. All you can really do is call them and request an explanation of the various charges and, importantly, why you weren't charged earlier. Maybe try and negotiate, I dunno. If they run you around too much, I don't really know how to handle it, though.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

So I have an appointment with the pupil guidance center (courtesy of google translate) next week and they gave me the date on a small card.
I was stupid enough to leave it in my pocket, and when my mom emptied my pockets before washing my pants, she found it.

So now she knows about it and I lied about the fact that I already had one two weeks ago and I also said that I have no idea why (but I do, obviously), and I'm going to have to lie some more the evening after the appointment. I had to lie because my mom would be very fucking mad if she found out that I didn't tell her about it and she's raging that they made an appointment without telling the parents (WHICH IS SORT OF THE ENTIRE FUCKING POINT OF THE PUPIL GUIDANCE CENTER).

After talking to me she tried to cheer me up, which obviously failed miserably because having somebody around you talking to you while you really just want some time to yourself is not good and just ended up in more hurt feelings.

My older sister seems to have broken up with her boyfriend. While this is good, since he was posessive little shit with her, it does mean she's moving back into my room. Of course, I don't find out about that part until their hauling her giant suitcases of stuff into my room late in the evening.

Have you considered murderization?
If I didn't kill my last roommate, I'm probably not going to ever kill anybody.

...I like how you left that open to interpretation.  :o

My PC's fan is getting unbearably loud, and SpeedFan does nothing. I don't think it would annoy me so much if it didn't just start up and stop without warning.

I don't think I got the place I just went to look at, which means that I'll probably be kicked out of here at the end of the week and have to move back in with my parents until I have a job.  My best guess is that I'm not extroverted enough.  But I can't tell my parents... they first thing out of their mouth will by "why do you think you didn't get the place" and "what could you have done to get the place."

Yes, I do in fact feel horrible all the time because I'm basically a female neckbeard, but I don't know how to do anything about it because my parents--the people I had the most exposure to growing up, thanks to things like "not having a house people could come to" and "not letting me just go to other people's houses" and "not letting me go out to a not-house, like the park"--are ALSO neckbeards.
