The dogs ripped apart a couch cushion in the middle of the night.

For some reason, it is my fault and I must be the one who cleans it up.

Is it your dog?

One more reason to prevent dogs coming into my home.

Ehn. Not the dog's fault, unless maybe they're very, very young. Almost always canine misbehavior is very firmly the fault of the owner.

It's called training. It is a thing you do. Dogs respond very, very well to it! It's pretty great.

Do, however, avoid owning a dog if you're not able to sink the time and effort into proper training. That makes you a worse person.

Screw all that. I already have a kid. I don't need a dog to train, too.

I was at work at the deli and a customer wanted a plastic knife.  I couldn't find a knife.  All I could find was 1000 plastic spoons.  Now that song is stuck in my head.

My internet is pissing me off again. It's a very retarded student USB type of deal that gives me one gig of bandwith before killing the speed to dial-up levels (meanwhile, my roommate has this activateable phone plan which gives him 2.5 gigs, calls, texts and everything else for almost half of what I pay for just shitty internet).
Now I don't have much of a problem with dial-up, sure it's slow as shit and I can barely open most pages, but I wouldn't mind it if it was stable. This is how it looks like right now:

Complete and utter bullshit.

Yup. Another rageworthy issue is that even when the 1 gig isn't used, that is, when full speed should be possible, it's still unstable as fuck. And this is pretty much in the middle of the freaking city. Sure it's iniside a house, but goddamn it it has windows and doors nearby, it's not like I'm in a bunker. Moving my laptop half a meter to one side of the table should not murder my connection as it does now.

Looks like my internet five years ago. Back then, we pulled 50 kbps at best. Nowadays, though, we get 500-ish.
Pft. You don't know true pain until you've been stuck with unstable ~4 kbps internet.

I do hope that my college of choice (you mentioned it was a student plan of some sorts?) doesn't have anything that bad.

Sure, it won't be

That, but an average of 60 kbps download?

Pft. You don't know true pain until you've been stuck with unstable ~4 kbps internet.

That's just cruel to a heavy internet user.

Elephant, you fail to realise that people tend to go through 50% of the site in one sitting. Also, people gain a resistance to TVtropes over time.
You can't go through 50% of TV Tropes in one sitting because of the second principle of the site.

The first is, of course, that once you go there you will be stuck for hours, so TV Tropes can be approximated as infinitely addictive.
The second is that in those hours you will discover a hundred more pages for things you never knew existed, so TV Tropes can be approximated as constantly growing.
These two combine to form the third, which is that you will consequently spend the rest of your life on the site after clicking one link to it.
