Ugh. Playing Icewind Dale 2, which has some pretty fucking labyrinthine puzzles. The only reasonable quality guide I can find sounds like it's written by a fourteen year old kid who is trying way too hard to impress the reader, and it's beginning to seriously grate on my nerves. Work-related RAAAGE: because some asshole scattered a bunch of screws and bolts in a particular section of this parking lot, my quick and super-easy assignment now becomes a waiting game until the repair guy gets out here to replace a damaged tire on this trailer.

Anyway, last bit of rage for the day. After the repair guys finally showed up and fixed the flat, I got the job done and started back to the central base.

Four. HOURS. Later, I arrive. Did you know the distance I drove was only about 110 miles? That's an average of about 27 miles per hour. THAT'S REALLY GODDAMN SLOW! Easily the worst traffic I've yet encountered; going through San Francisco + Oakland in the middle of rush hour(s).

You know what's the worst part? If I had just ignored the slowly-deflating tire and finished the job, leaving it for the next poor schmo to take care of, I would have been back nice and early and enjoyed a nice relaxing evening. Instead I did the right thing and suffered. Once again, no good deed goes unpunished.
