My probation officer threatened me with prison today. One way or another, I will not be going to prison.

Probation officers are well known for their shit talking and threatening attitude. Unless you are actually breaking any conditions of your probation I would ignore him.

Perhaps I mistated. My PO is a very... Chill person, relatively speaking. His exact words were, "(If you mess up) I won't send you to jail anymore." He didn't directly threaten me with, "You're going to prison!" He just intimated that I wouldn't be going to jail anymore, which pretty much means I'd be going to prison.

Bitches about me leaving my dinner dirty dishes in the sink until morning, then proceed to clog the counter with dishwares and leave for weekend.
Complain because i forgot my laundry in the washer, then hog that for days.
Yesterday we ordered pizza, i hadn't change, so he paid for me also.
Today, oblivious to the fact he have a debt of 25€ with me and 150 with the other mate, he comes to me asking for the pizza's 10€ because he need to take a train and he's broken...

The dudes would not shut up, at all.  They just keep insulting eachother, and then they ask me to give them the answers, which they could've easily chosen at random, which I did as they spent literally 30 minutes talking smack. And then they say they want to play basketball this friday, but then go and just keep blabbing, even though talking was why we AREN'T going to play basketball.

One of my professors has been talking about this presentation all semester that's due today. I checked the syllabus and just realized that there's also a ten page paper due with it. Fuck.

Yeesss... this is why after the first year or so of college I ended up cultivating the habit of checking over the syllabus every week and a half, or thereabouts. Just... occasionally. To be sure I wasn't forgetting something major. Didn't catch 'em all... but it caught most. At least I knew I was procrastinating about a deadline, instead of having one sprung on me.

I remember back in high school when my teachers always warned me that there would be professors who didn't mention things because they were on the syllabus. It's taken three and a half years for me to find one but it's definitely going to bite me in the ass.

Not new. I used to work for a company that pioneered this kind of thing. Made me feel kinda sleazy, it was like being an arms dealer selling guns to both sides of the copyright war.

There's actually a lot of "research" companies that try to keep track of who's downloading what torrents in the hopes that if laws change and they can be used against people en mass, they'll be able to sell them for a high price.
