2 MMCLs (Mini Missile Cluster Launcher [stationary][missile]).

And why are the cannons overkill on fighters? What else would you use on them?

Cannons are overkill. No way to describe it. Imagine taking out a gunboat with battleship guns. Basically the same.

Not to mention that the frigates shields need to be downed before the turrets can do anything to it.

Freighter=/=Frigate. It's a BIG deference. :P

Also: I just realized I forgot to give missiles a -1 to shield damage rolls up to now. Won't happen again (I hope).

The explosion from The Jolly Smew will probably knock out the frigates shields and damage it, so.....


(Roadviper)

Aim bullseye on the frigate, then shoot at max power when its shields are down. At the same time, be sure to NOT hit any escape pods.


Edit: One question, with one shield roll, would it be possible for an APIMGT to take it out? I think thats how it was working with the fighters.
