Wait.
We put a cookie in the bag, then show it to him. He will climb into the bag, and then we get the hell out.
Also, since I do have a medkit I could perform (dwarven) surgery out of, we could go with my first plan.

Jeeze, all that while I was watching Survivor? And now I got to go to bed...

I'll only be able to quote a page or so back, so please post anything you want to do in a single post sometime in say... 14 hours? I got to go to school too... :-\

Also, kobolds do raise families, and are capable of learning a coherent language. However, they are both stupid and heavily accented.

I would appreciate if in the future actions could be summed up as a whole... and not happen 5 in a day.. But that's just a suggestion :)

I think to sum up gist of my actions was first
I thought I already had my jump uniform on
I think we'd like to somehow befriend the Kobold and family and use them as slaves err.. workers (in exchange for food and defense of course) for our new camp that we establish somewhere after the scout finds a good site.
Send the diplomat (do we have one?) to try to work out some kind of materials for help with defense deal with the dwarves.

Can we call it... The Pitt?
Sorry, been playing a lot of Fallout.
Also, gunguy's new name is Lord Asher.

I scout for suitable caves or cliff faces to begin our fortress in. After a few hours, I return to the group.

Now this question rears it's hideously deformed head: What do we do while barb is away scouting?

The thing about trading right now is we don't really have very much to offer. We should try to work out some kind of sponsorship deal. :D

Haha! Just read through this. You all crack me up.
And then I was inspired to look through my (inherited) old-school desk to see what all are in/on it.

...aaaand decided it's a good thing I didn't see this and try to join when you started: I would have been called a liar/cheater.

ACTIONS:

I'm still the scout, right?

>Scout around the countryside, seeking a cave to start our fortress in. Afterwards, return to the group.
There is a cave! You busy yourself drawing a map.
we really should think about gaining it's trust enough to conceal it on a backpack, or something,

i give him another cookie and try to explain this to him with, talking and gesturing to the backpack

The kobold refuses to get in your pack! He does however make some signs with his hands and fades from view. You can see a faint black outline against the background, comparable to a chameleon.

I load up my DS's web browser to see if it gets a connection.
The world fizzles, and some small stones drop from the ceiling. What was previously smooth marble is now pitted and cracked. The dust settles upon your shoulders.

Haha! Just read through this. You all crack me up.

((Hop in! just be aware that you will be stuck with the group, unless I say so. Helps me stay in control.))

Spoiler: Group (click to show/hide)

Earth Time (GMT): 6:55 PM
((map will be available next turn. I feel like someone is missing from the group list...))

"Josejik, you're so awesome."

Let's have him wait out here. I want to see if I can't talk with a human for a while, figure out the lay of the land, try to strike a deal of some sort.
