Knight: Oops, I did miss that.  Too bad I still don't buy it.

Unvote Criptfeind.  Vote Knight85.

Blarg:  You were on last night but didn't post.  Trying to lurk your way to a win?

Sorry. I had a mate over, and he was desperate to play Xbox. I only got through reading Godhood.

Re-reading the thread with what little knowledge I have gained so far, and Knight Day 1 was acting pretty shifty, but Criptfeind was setting off the most alarm bells.

Be less useful and I will kill you less. You are on a good track now though, no question AND you are random voting me when I got a random vote already.

I suspect this refers to the Game which Shall Not Be Named, but the present tense involved made me narrow my eyes.

Note for the people attacking Blarg because he is not posting; his last post was the last time he was on, give him some time.

This bit, which I commented on yesterday.

This smells of OH CRAP STOP FOLLOWING THAT LEAD, but as it refers to Spit, I don't know what to think of it.

Rereading the thread *again*, I'm starting to think that Webadict's predecessor, Charlemagne, was not being absent-minded, but was being sneaky. He posted a few times yesterday; he ignored any and all requests for him to participate, and asked questions as if he were looking in on us in the game trying desperately to find scum, as if he were outside it. Perhaps I should rephrase that- us in the town. I'm not voting because of his long absences from the thread- I'm not a hypocrite- I'm voting because whenever he did post, it was never relevant or even a stab-in-the-dark. If he was scum (and I am convinced he was), then that bescumbency has passed on to Webadict.

Hi! So, I just got here and was about to read the thread when I noticed that you're voting me for something I can't possibly defend against. I am, in fact, unaware of the vote count right now. We should get one.

While I'm sure they're very valid reasons in Crazy Town, I'm gonna do my best to address them.

Also, am I to assume those quotes are from me? There's no reference quote, which makes it entirely out of context for me, as well as impossible to figure out who said it or what's happening in them. Again, that only ruins what you're trying to establish.

So, let's start and end at the bottom:
Rereading the thread *again*, I'm starting to think that Webadict's predecessor, Charlemagne, was not being absent-minded, but was being sneaky. He posted a few times yesterday; he ignored any and all requests for him to participate, and asked questions as if he were looking in on us in the game trying desperately to find scum, as if he were outside it. Perhaps I should rephrase that- us in the town. If he was being so sneaky, why is he forcibly replaced? That's terrible reasoning. I wouldn't be here if he were lurking. He'd do better lurking it out until the next Day, seeing as how tomorrow would be lylo. He clearly didn't ignore the requests on purpose: I'M HERE!

You start to make a point until you destroy yourself where you note he was asking questions. Not only does that not make any sense to me (No quotes), but it sounds RELEVANT! That's what most games entitle. The point is to find scummy people through their words, so asking questions makes a whole lot of sense.

And then there was that rephrasing. You HAD to make it scummy, didn't you? It sounded like it made sense beforehand, but the clarification sounds like you're trying to force the idea that you're part of the Town, as opposed to the implied sense that everyone ALREADY IS, or at the very least, trying to blend in.

And then a bit more vague comments about my predecessor's posting (Again, you're not aiming the argument at me, you're aiming it at everyone else) followed by calling me scum.

Maybe once I post more you can target me and not behind me.

Welcome into the game, web.  Since your predecessor posted zero content, I'll ask you for your views on the game so far.  You've posted your view on Blarg, but if he's scum, there's still another out there.  Any leads?

I believe that Knight is scum and why he wasn't lynched yesterday is nothing short of a miracle.

The other scum is Blargityblargh or Siquo.

The quotes are all from Criptfeind; Siquo asked me what was making me suspicious about him, and halfway through my response post research, I noticed that Char13mange had posted more often than I though, but had never left any content.

He was being sneaky when he was actually posting; perhaps some real reason not to post came up in the past couple days.

Except that the questions were not relevant; again, the whole sentence needs to be taken into account. The questions were more of a 'oh, so that's how you do it, then?' nature than the 'YOU ARE SCUM ADMIT TO ME YOU'RE SCUM QUESTIONMARK DOESN'T REALLY FIT HERE BUT I'LL PUT IT ANYWAY?' that seem to be favoured 'round here.

Yes, seeing as I'm accusing you (via the last person who had your role) of bescumbency. Kinda misses the point if I say 'YOU'RE SCUM but it doesn't really matter'

Vague, perhaps. I'm certainly not aiming the accusations at everyone else; I'm aiming it squarely at that GM PM that you, sir, hold in your inbox, and that Char13mange held before you. A GM PM that may very well say 'scum'.

He wasn't being sneaky at all. He was being a moron. His lack of help, however, is probably attributed to his newbieness, seeing as how he was and is not scum.

I believe it was said Yesterday that questions are meant to maintain conversation. While it is preferred that these questions be related to the game in most or all cases, questions unrelated can cause scumslips as well as other things. Your analysis is thereby flawed.

It actually HITS THE MARK by calling me scum straight up. It means you don't hold a wavering conscience and are able to assume that the person you're after is scum, as scum would assume that there aren't really any other scum but them. Therefore, they know that nobody else could be scum and tend to be more passive.

And lastly, the problem of that PM is that it DOES say "scum." It says that I must find "scum." The unfortunate part of your argument is that the "mafia" tend not to refer to themselves as "scum," and therefore, only Town would have "scum" in them, if any, and therefore, you have only furthered the case that I am Town, and vaguely hinted at your own scummitude.

Any other brain-busters before you remove your vote?
