He wasn't being sneaky at all. He was being a moron. His lack of help, however, is probably attributed to his newbieness, seeing as how he was and is not scum.

I believe it was said Yesterday that questions are meant to maintain conversation. While it is preferred that these questions be related to the game in most or all cases, questions unrelated can cause scumslips as well as other things. Your analysis is thereby flawed.

It actually HITS THE MARK by calling me scum straight up. It means you don't hold a wavering conscience and are able to assume that the person you're after is scum, as scum would assume that there aren't really any other scum but them. Therefore, they know that nobody else could be scum and tend to be more passive.

And lastly, the problem of that PM is that it DOES say "scum." It says that I must find "scum." The unfortunate part of your argument is that the "mafia" tend not to refer to themselves as "scum," and therefore, only Town would have "scum" in them, if any, and therefore, you have only furthered the case that I am Town, and vaguely hinted at your own scummitude.

Also, how does 'Only Town would have ''scum'' in them' work? The Scum is the mafia, i.e. not town. How does this 'hint at my own scummitude'?

The fact that he's NEW might very well lend credit to what I say. I don't believe my predecessor ever played a game of mafia in his/her life, and definitely not on this forum (That is provable at this second.)

No, you don't get it. When you call somebody scum, it means you believe that they are SCUM. The way you were doing it was making you passively calling me scum, which is scummy. You didn't go out and say, "You're scum." You went out and said, "Your past self is guilty of bescumbency." That's passive. By doing that, you sound weaker.

And this does matter, since if you're mafia, you have no idea what the TOWN'S PM says. And why would you assume Mafioso? Why not Godfather? Or Roleblocker? Why so specific? Is that what you got? And, the scum are not the mafia; The mafia are the scum.

Blarg- That's not the Blarg that played first day.  In fact, I just rechecked- your vote on spitfire was your only vote of the day.  You RVed him on the third post of the thread and never moved it.  The rest of your posts were brief, just confirming your "suspicions" of spitfire.  Today you're throwing walls of text at web. 

Here's what I see:  When it was spitfire on line to get lynched, that's fine by you.  Suddenly, it looks like Knight is going to be lynched, and you're very actively trying to move it away from him.  The only logical conclusion is that you and Knight are both scum.

I thought we had already decided to lynch Knight. Regardless of the recent discourse, I still consider his actions the scummiest and stand by my prior accusations.

I don't see how an extension really helps anyone; we've reached a stalemate and the arguments are also yielding little. I'm almost positive Knight is scum, and once we confirm this we can check through his early interactions, find his partner, and have an easy win tomorrow.

Any objections?
