...and the thong has a picture of itself inscribed on it. Not to mention the fact that you'll be engraving pictures of it everywhere now.

Excellent Haiku, btw.

Dwarven Civ Is Dead
Wish I'd Brought an Anvil Here
Deep beneath the waves.

Archeology
Carve things in the fortress walls
see what used to be

Every Twenty Years
Goblins Attacked everyone
Now they all are dead?

That thong must've been used to protect the head.  ;D

Any dwarf wouldn't want to wear undies 'menaced with spikes'. that should hurt a lot  :-[

Hey, now, don't be so quick to assume. Some people are into that sort of thing.

aaand haiku:

placid calm waters
seasons turn: suddenly ice
below, a hatch breaks

hot steam cloud vapour
rises from the lake bottom
breach sealed by magma

As much as I love the image of a Crown of Thongs... I'll be sticking around in this world just so I can see this thing show up again and again. I've gotten a legendary flute with the thong carved into it already.

You're assuming they're on the inside. What if they want to be the giver?  :P
