Come out confidently and shout, "You see! Look inside that house, there is nothing there! What person would live in a house with nothing? Only a witch! She clearly summoned all those things with her witchy powers!"

Cheddarius, you're a genius :o

Oh, but as we're getting +5 to all rolls, we need to do something else as well...

I'm tempted to suggest using magic and pretending it was her, but we'd get a -15 ( -20+5), so it might not be a good idea.

And we could always do this: privately talk to the finely-accented man and subtly try to convince him to join our cause. After all, we can't do this on our own, and we could use someone like him... I dunno, just make him feel important.

But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Turn Eight (Luck: -47+0=-47, XP: -47)

Ouch! -20 to each roll. :(

>Come out confidently and shout, "You see! Look inside that house, there is nothing there! What person would live in a house with nothing? Only a witch! She clearly summoned all those things with her witchy powers!" (Speech: -22-20+5 = -37, XP: -37)

The crowd is extremely unconvinced without any hard evidence, and frankly, a little miffed at the fact that they very nearly did something regrettable to an innocent woman. They release her, and she begins to cackle:

"Ahahaha! Cretus, you always were a desperate man!" She walked up her entryway, gently shoving you out of the way; her hand on your chest. Once in the house, she slammed the door shut.

>Privately talk to the finely-accented man and subtly try to convince him to join our cause. After all, we can't do this on our own, and we could use someone like him... I dunno, just make him feel important. (Speech: -45-20+5 = -60, XP: -60)

As a last desperate act, you walked up to the man with the accent. You see that he's a handsome fellow, mustachioed and monocled, with a top hat and some fine clothing. A watch chain dangles languidly from his left pocket.

"PLEASE HELP ME SIR SHE ABUSED ME AND I NEED MY REVEEEEENGE!!!"

Another thing you notice is the gun holster underneath his vest. But noticing it too late, he draws his gun and points it at you.

"I quite understand that you might not understand what's going on, but really this has gone too far."
(-50-20+5 = -65)
He pulls the trigger, and the bullet lodges in your heart along with tearing an aorta out, making a general mess of your circulatory system.

The last image you have in this body is your hand, loosely fisted, reaching for his face, as you apparently attempted to punch the man. You notice an extremely mortified look on his face, as he attempts to dodge, but it is too late. The hand splays out, open, across his face.

"OH BLOODY..."

The life slips out of you.

-----------------------------------
SOME THOUSANDS OF YEARS LATER
-----------------------------------

"...FUCKING JOLLY" you hear yourself finish saying, but you can't remember why. Your eyes are closed, but you're aware of a crowd dispersing: screaming, gasping, running. It smells like gunsmoke, and you're vaguely aware of your realization that you should not be living.

You open your eyes and see a faintly familiar scene... You look down and see a gun in your hand, smoke billowing out of the barrel. You see a crumpled body on the ground, grasping for air, and looking at nothing. The mouth moves and finally some words poke out: "I still love you, Belinda..." and his head goes limp.

You feel in your pockets, there is some weight, but you can't imagine what sort of things you might have on you...

Looking around, only a few of the crowd remain, staring wide-eyed and slack-jawed.

STATUS:

Name: Unknown
Location: Unknown City; just outside of a house. A panicked crowd is mostly running away, but a few of the crowd remain, staring wide-eyed and slack-jawed.

Surroundings: (Observation: 33-20+5 = 18, XP +18): One instinct of your new body remains with you: a need to get to Beechpalm.

Health:

No wounds!

Blood: 5600 / 5600 mL

Skills:

Level 2
  • Speech (252/300)
Level 1
  • Luck (139/200)
Inventory:

Monocle
Top Hat
Watch Chain
Gun

You have XP to spend!

+120 Points
-579 Points

Available Skills:
  • First Aid
  • Strength
  • Dancing
  • (!!)Holy
  • Warhammer
  • (!!)Science!
  • Jumping
  • Observation
  • (!!)Magic

You can distribute the XP in any fashion you'd like, but you can't subtract XP to any skill that you add XP to, and vise verse.

In other words, you can't add 100 to Magic and then subtract 100 from Magic. That way we have a similar distribution of skills as our previous body. Also, yes, there's a lot of negative to distribute, but if you notice, you have an extra 400 XP in speech and luck, which should both tremendously help.

>What should you do now(Pick your XP distro first)?

I suppose that's the end of the world domination plan?

Also, instead of spending all 120 on luck, we could spend 48 on speech and the rest on luck ( which would increase both levels...whatever that might do ).

But -579 to dancing sounds perfect, yes. It's not like we would ever be forced to dance or something, so there is no way this could backfire on us.  :D

Also, maybe we should go tell Belinda we shot her...husband or something. We might get some answers as to what is going on :o
If there even is anything going on.

I think what happened was that we were shot, our soul did something, then we transfered into that posh guy and the man who was shot had his soul returned as he died, that woman is the person who he loves or something. Just a guess

I think we are an ancient demonic spirit that takes possession of people's bodies, and then when these bodies die leaves and finds a new host to use to do it's demonic deeds.

Or something. And yeah, that woman would probably be the one he loves or something, which I why I think she might be able to tell us something. Maybe Cretus summoned us? There was something about gods and idols and stuff...

I guess the answers are all waiting for us...in Beechpalm.

Luck, I think, is the most important. Luck makes the initial luck roll higher, which increases all the rolls. If we have excessive luck, we can get to the next level of luck faster, and so on.
