Turn Six (Luck: -24+0=-24, XP: -24) (I think I'm going to change how the turn Luck roll works... Where before I was adding in either 0, 1, or 2 actions, either negative or positive, I think I'll adjust every roll by 0, 1, or 2 levels, positive or negative, depending on the roll...)

>Convince the crowd to help you... (Speech: 12-10 = 2, XP: +2)

You give an impassioned paragraph to the audience, yet they remain unconvinced to help you in the killing. One man shouts out, "Do it yerself! We won't stop ye!" and several others shout a "Yea!" for support.

>Kill the "evil" driver (Warhammer: -2-10 = -12, XP: -12)

You walk towards the driver and raise your warhammer about his head... As you're about to bring it down, he wakes to full consciousness, realizes what's happening, and starts blurting the reality.

"Wait now! This man is th' thief! I did naught illegal or of magic! He 'opped ontae MY wagon trying tae steal MY wares! Then a bomb went off in his crate and cause this 'ole mess ye see in front of ye! An' now ye stand by an' watch as this brigand aims to murder another?"

The crowd, visibly unsure of what to believe, grows uneasy, tense, and even angry at times. You decide to go for another idea and try to

>Convince the crowd that the man is only one of many foul witches amongst this city, and that they need to be dealt with before they claim more power and become unstoppable! (Speech: 28-10 = 18, XP: +18) (Wow that was close)

Thinking extremely quickly, you shout the following: "Dear citizens! How easily you are tricked! If you give me but 10 minutes of your time, I can prove to you that witches ARE a problem in this great city of ours, as one of the leaders lives just down the road from here. I need three of you to hold the driver here, whilst the rest of you should follow me to the witch's lair!"

A largeish portion of the crowd breaks off and follows you(20 or so out of the 30 or so) down towards the crazy lady's house witch's lair.

As you approach her yard, you can still see the strewn about items she had previously flung at you. Presumably she heard the clamour, and opened the door. "YOU AGAIN!? Cretus I told you to LEAVE! Who ARE these people?!"

You ready your mind to cast a deceiving spell any ventriloquist would be proud of...

CONVINCE the crowd that she used her spell CONJURE MUG to make a mug and used her TELEKINESIS to THROW it at YOU

And yeah I guess that works.

And if your plan doesn't work, like it wont,Then shout that she is using her mind tricks. If THAT doesnt work, smash her mailbox with the hammer and run.

Also,WHY the HELL did the medical kit heal your blood?

haha, you didn't give anything away. I know about as much about the story as you do.

OOPS! I mean, I totally have a plan for this story. Absolutely. I know every inch of it.

And you wonder how it healed the blood, but you don't wonder how it disappeared when touching it?

Hm? You all want the witch dead?

I don't think we should kill her just yet. I propose we:

CONVINCE the crowd that she used her spell CONJURE MUG to make a mug and used her TELEKINESIS to THROW it at YOU

And if your plan doesn't work, like it wont,Then shout that she is using her mind tricks.

tell the crowd to restrain her ( so that she can't cast a spell on us! ) and then bring her inside for interrogation

Look inside the house for something that could be considered evidence of witchcraft, or plant some fake evidence if we have to, and present it to the crowd

The crowd will then trust us, and continue to grow as we hunt down and brutally murder "witches" ( i.e. people we don't like or who have something we want ) until we rule the...place that we're in.

Oh, and if this fails, we could always just assume that the crazy lady is our wife and tell her it was...roleplay or something.

Turn Seven (Luck: 41+0 = 41, XP: +41)

Ooh, very nice luck roll! +20 to each roll. Although with all the ridiculous suggestions this might get crazy... I think I'm just going to pick the most sensible ones...

>Convince the crowd that she was using her witchy powers to throw all the strewn about objects at you (Speech: 28+20 = 48, XP: +48 , Level up!)

They seem extremely convinced! The crowd had started lifting the objects she previously had thrown, when one impassioned individual hurled, ironically, the very same mug with your name on it back at the witch! (Her Dodging: 31)She dodged the mug, and gave a funny smirk:

"So, Cretus, you tell the world I'm a witch for what I did to you? Ladies and Gentlemen, I don't know if you realize, but this man is a crazy person! Have you ever even heard of witches in this city of ours? Sure, they lurk outside, but don't you think the wards that guard this place would hold them out?" (Her Speech: 47!)

Shaken in their beliefs, the crowd is at first unsure of what to believe, but in the end they stick with your side, though they all seem very less hostile.

"Dat's a good point, derr are da wards *hyuck*" sounded off some simpleton up front.

"Yes, but she could be lying too!" spoke an oddly refined accent from the back.

>Tell the crowd to restrain her (so that she can't cast a spell on us!) and then bring her inside for interrogation (Speech: -31+30 = -1, XP: -1, Level down!)

"Dear citizens: I can prove to you her witcheyness! You restrain her using this rope," You point to some rope on the ground, "and I will return from the house with solid evidence! We can even tie her to the chairs inside and question her until you believe me. I know she is a witch and she will pay for it!"

Apparently her words of your craziness have affected the crowd's trust in you, and the air of desperation in your voice isn't helping. They do not move and for long seconds there is an awkward silence.

"Just go inside. We won't let her leave, but if she is not a witch, we will have gagged and bound an innocent woman! Bring us the evidence and THEN we will interrogate her!" Spoke the same finely-accented man.

>Look inside the house for something that could be considered evidence of witchcraft, or plant some fake evidence, and present it to the crowd (Luck: -49+20 = -29, XP: -29)

You slump inside the house, upset at the loss of trust in you. As you open the door and look inside, you begin to feel extremely confused. The house is completely bare! Not a single item, or piece of furniture exists in there! You check every room, every closet(even though there are no closet doors), every cupboard! How ridiculous! She must be some sort of Arcane master, to have conjured those items to throw earlier...

Thinking quickly, you decide to make an explosion inside the house to convince the crowd. From nowhere, an idea strikes you: if everything is made up of stuff, and there's other stuff called "antistuff", what would happen when these two forms of stuff interacted? Why, a gigantic explosion... Of course!

>Summon some antimatter (Science!: -15-30[restructuring the universe]+20=-25, XP: -25)

You give it a shot. Concentrating to an extreme, you feel the universe and become one with its energies. You begin stretching and yawning with its ever-growing boundaries. Centuries pass, and all the while you practice moving bits and pieces of yourself(the universe). A few millenia later, you begin juggling stars, and eons later, even black holes become toys to an amused omnipotent being such as youruniversalsself! Once you're ready, you concentrate on a large repository of antimatter and scoop an impossibly small amount up. Tugging it this way and that through your several dimensions, being careful of it not touching any regular old BORING matter, you bring it more than halfway across your own body(the universe). Locating a very remote galaxy, a very remote solar system in that remote galaxy, and finally a very remote planet within that remote star system(which is still within the extremely remote galaxy), you deposit the antimatter feeling very proud of yourself.

The universe blinks, and you are returned to your corporeal body, very stunned at the experience. You suddenly clasp your ears and expect a large explosion, but nothing happens! You hear a gasp from outside, and notice the shadows turning a different color within the house. There's a window next to you in the room you're in, and you peek your head out, peering upwards. A large fireball has appeared in the sky, and you determine that you placed the antimatter onto the wrong planet... Good thing, too, because you seemed to have scooped an impossibly small amount that was just enough to destroy the entire planet! That was a close call for now, but you're not sure how the explosion of a neighboring planet will affect you in the future...

You drop to your knees: "DEAR GOD! If I ever thought you were good for ANYTHING it would be to kill this vengeful witch! She has tormented my life since the first moment I can remember! I beg of you, smite her down!"

>Pray for a ray of divine light to destroy the crazy lady witch (Holy: 10-30[unknown Gods]+20 = 0, XP: 0)

Nothing happens. Although, you feel that your prayer didn't go unheard.

>Failing all else, you dance! (Dancing: 2+20 = 22, XP: +22)

You dance, and feel a little better about things, despite your dire situation.

STATUS:

Name: Cretus
Location: Unknown City; inside the amazingly empty crazy witch lady's house. About 100 yards away from the burning, broken wagon and its driver. A large crowd is just outside the house, expecting you to return with evidence of the woman being a witch.

Surroundings: (Observation: -24+20 = -4, XP -4): You learn nothing about your surroundings.

Health:
You are healthier than something that's rather healthy!
You feel ecstatic from dancing! (+5 to all rolls)

No wounds!

Blood: 5600 / 5600 mL

Skills:

Level 0+
  • Speech (99/100) (52+48-1 = 99)
  • First Aid (60/100)
  • Strength (38/100)
  • Luck (36/100) (24+41-29 = 36)
  • Dancing (22/100) (0+22 = 22)
Level 0
  • Holy (0/0) (0)
Level 0-
  • Warhammer (-2/-100)
  • Science! (-25/-100) (0-25 = -25)
  • Jumping (-45/-100)
  • Observation (-46/-100) (-42-4 = -46)
  • Magic (-51/-100)

Inventory:

Basic Clothing
Warhammer

>What should you do now?

P.S. I might have gone a little crazy with the coloring. I can't tell if I like it or not. Also, when you do something impossible for the first time (Magic, Ridiculous Science, Holy Prayers) you get a -30 modifier. The second time you do it, it'll be -20, then -10, then 0. So now you know! If you cast a spell next time, it'll only be -20... So keep that in mind, ja?

Come out confidently and shout, "You see! Look inside that house, there is nothing there! What person would live in a house with nothing? Only a witch! She clearly summoned all those things with her witchy powers!"
