Wildfires would be dangerous in America, especially once there's a war on our doorstep. Woodlands are huge, and controls are somewhat lax, as we seem to employ 'if it ain't causing trouble yet, don't fix it' mentality

Wildfires in my part of the US can get very large very quickly. That's because where I live is technically a semiarid desert, but with way too many flammable trees. It doesn't help that the forest floors are covered in EXTREMELY flammable pine needles, up to six inches thick in parts.

Depends if you're talking about modern or ancient hawaii. Modern hawaii has plenty of modern boats. Ancient hawaii on the other hand...

I was hoping to engage in a conversation over the logistics of ancient Hawaiians riding trained dolphins. These things don't get funny unless you give them the chance to go on tangents captain killjoy; I was hoping you'd at least pick up on the fact that I was intentionally trying to provoke you into a potentially hilarious debate.

On the "legal flamethrower": There is no technical law about it. Of course, INTERNATIONAL law states that they are illegal, and I'm sure there is a national law about it.

On Hawaii and volcanoes: Too late, guys, it IS erupting... of course, it is a lava volcano, not a blast volcano (i.e. uber-hot dust cloud), and currently is making a new island of Hawaii. Yep, it is still pretty much harmless. No, I will not describe in any manner why it will never doom the hawaiians.
