It's used on guts. No doubt for spilling. I just can't work out the finer details. (if there are any)

I thought about that, if i remember correctly anything that is flying through the air completely ignores the laws of temperature. The only problem I see is how will I store this ammunition without said vaporization?

Make the quiver out of Nether-cap wood. That has a rather cool fixed temp.

So I'm upgrading my mod to work with .19. However, in the errorlog.txt, I'm getting errors with the colour modifiers and tissue thicknesses. Specifically:

This happens for every non-vanilla creature. The tissue thickness error also occurs with every part of every non-vanilla creature's body. For reference, here's the colour modifiers for my red dragons:

Is anyone else seeing any errors there? Because I can't find any functional differences in the code. And I see no mention of tissue thickness anywhere in the vanilla raws, so why would it only effect MY creatures?

EDIT: Weird. The only creatures I've added in the last couple weeks - and the only ones not mentioned - are balrogs (made of iron and fire) and slimes (cave blobs with gem cores). This is confuuuuusiiiiiiiiing.

Can you not just tell me what, precisely, has changed in regards to tissue thickness definition and colour modifiers between .18 and .19? Because those are the only problems, and I'd rather not post about 30-something creature definitions all at once.

I have seen no evidence of any change to tissue thickness definition from previous versions. In fact, I don't kknow how tissue thickness was defined to begin with.

The problem is that the game can't find any tissues for any of the creature's bodyparts. This likely means that you're not defining tissues for those parts correctly.

Does the SCALED creature variation define all of the creature mats, then tissues, then assigns them, in that order?

...well, that was a derp move. I've integrated Lofn's Tanning Mod into my own mod, and I forgot to move c_variation_tanmod.txt when I moved everything else. PROBLEM SOLVED HURR DURR I'M A DUMBASS.

OK. I'm a MAJOR newbie, and have been mostly screwing around in Arena mode, but I wonder, is it possible to mod the arrows to have weird physics like they used to?

I am trying to mod in various food items, including bread, for which I was using the method in the quoted post.  However, I can't seem to get it to work.  The dwarves refused to eat it or store it in a stockpile, so I added a new material template for bread and simply referenced it in the plants' raw entries instead of defining the bread material inside of the entry.

Although bread does now appear in the milled plant section of the stockpile customization menu, the dwarves still ignore it.  What's causing this?

Edit:  I forgot part of the plant raws.
Edit 2:  The 'd' was missing in POWDER_MISC in the reaction.  Surprisingly, it had no impact; the reaction worked and the dwarves ate it in spite of the typo.
