I'm glad you all like the RTD! :D I didn't think this would become that successful for a first attempt. Actually, I thought nobody was going to join. Luckily, I was proven wrong. :P

Turn 18

Hp;y $#17 time to run. head for the sewers keep Scaletooth close

(5) Finally stopping yourself from staring at the walking fortress that is the Behemoth, you quickly turn around and slap Scaley. He comes back to his senses and you both start running toward the base. On the way, Scaley looks at you and makes a signal with his head. Because of your bond, you understand that he wants you to ride him so you could get there faster. You nod and jump to the side while still running and land on his back. Being on a mount, you get to the base pretty quickly. You find Gray's house and wonder how you could get in, but Scaletooth has another idea. He tells you to hold on to him and then uses his gecko-like feet to walk up the wall of the house. On the other side, he crawls to the hole leading to the sewers and drops down. You jump off his back and look around. The sewers still seem pretty shady, but you think you can see some light in the far distance.

Climb up and look around.

(1) Looking for a way to get up to the hatch, you discover a ladder to your left and quickly climb it up. This time the ladder seems to be attached to the wall a little better. You reach the top and try pushing the door open, but somehow it won't budge. It seems like somebody locked it or blocked it with something heavy. As you rattle the hatch around with one arm, you suddenly start moving down. Looking down, you notice that the ladder has started to bend. Panicking, you try to climb down, but only manage to rip even more parts of it away from the wall. When you reach the bottom, the ladder comes crashing down behind you. Seems like these are just not intended for huge super-mutant use. You can now officially call yourself "Gray the Destroyer of Ladders". The sewers have pretty much become an inescapable pit now. You'll need some help if you still want to open that hatch.

For the love of all that is holy I unleash a beatdown on the ugly that I was fighting. If McCoy kills it first I focus on the throwing rock I have and try to enchant it to be a weapon of light, powerful enough to destroy or incapacitate the huge thing coming at us.

(3) Seeing that the Ugly is completely ignoring you and instead focusing on McCoy, you feel angry for a second, but you see it as an opportunity. Taking your hammer and gripping it tightly, you swing it back over your head and then down in a wide arc, but the Ugly suddenly moves and you hit him in the left shoulder instead of the head. (5) Still, your attack was filled with so much force that it ripped the shoulder and the arm attached to it clean off. Blood flies through the air and your hammer itself is quite full of it. The Ugly Face falls to his knees clutching at where his arm used to be. As he collapses to the ground, you take a step back again and think if you still have enough time to enchant your rock some more, before the giant monster reaches you.

Since the earth is on vacation, I'll take my trusty pick--er, clawhammer, and burrow into the sewer!

(3) Now that you can't call for the powers of Mother Earth, who is getting a great massage at the spa right now, you instead have to rely on the stuff you have with you. Being a dwarf, mining is a easy task for you, that is as long as you have the fitting tools. You take out your useful clawhammer and turn it so the claw is used as the pick. Still, it would have been a lot easier with an actual pick. Starting to dig into the ground beneath you, you quickly notice that this is probably not gonna work. The stone is to hard to dig through with such small equipment and after trying to make a hole for a while, you only get a small dash in the road. Saddened, you give up and sit back, waiting for Mother Earth to return to duty.

I'll place my new pet inside a body part from one of the many dead ugly-faces.

(5) Feeling bad for taking your little friend from your arm, you decide to help him out since he seems to listen to your commands. You look around for a corpse of an Ugly Face and it doesn't take you long to find one after all the slaughtering that has been done here. Approaching it, you look for the best spot to put the parasite. Then you get and idea. You take a sharp rock lying nearby and cut a hole in the back of the Ugly's head. Afterwards, you put your pet into the hole. After a few seconds of silence, the corpse suddenly opens its eyes and starts to move. Still being on guard in-case the friend turns on you, he suddenly jumps at your leg and cuddles against it like a cat would do. Unsure how to feel about this, you think that he's at least not offensive and tell him to get up. He quickly responds and stops hugging your leg, standing back up.

Test my rapier to see how good it is at sticking in things without bending.

(6) Wanting to see if this rapier is any good for fencing, you think you should test it. Going to a nearby house, you stick it in a space between the wood. You start bending it lightly and after some time you start adding more strength to the pushing. The sword seems to work pretty well, considering that it tried stabbing you a few times before. If you get lucky you could maybe make it fly towards the enemy and mak- SNAP! ... What was that? Oh ... It looks like you pushed a little too strong while you where deep in thought and you broke the blade clean in half. You pick up the broken edge and look at it. It seems to cry out "W- ... Why ... ?". Tears almost start coming to your eyes when you think about how much the burial for your weapon will cost. Of course you wouldn't cry. Cause you're a *sniff* man! ... *sniff* It's so sad!

Shout "I don't like to be touched!" Before enacting justice on the ugly.

(5-2) After Wemic used his chance and delivered quite some damage to the Ugly, you decide to join in. Going into Mr. T.-mode, you start throwing punches into the air and then you try to surprise-attack the knocked down Ugly Face, but he seems to have noticed. As he tries to jump to the side, you still manage to hit his shoulder (5) and manage to punch it off with the power of the armor aiding you. You and Wemic do a secret eachother a secret handshake that only members of the club know. What club? It's a secret! Duh! As you finish your super-double-triple-extended-handlock, you look back to the armless Ugly running in circles, spraying blood around like a sprinkler. An ugly, blood-filled sprinkler. Not long after, he collapses on the ground. Watching him run around while eating popcorn with Wemic (which of course came from the God of Popcorn, Popeye), you are saddened by this turn of events. You walk over to the foe and poke him a few times. As he doesn't move anymore, you sigh and then yell:"The show is over!" after which the popcorn disappears. The two of you ponder what to do next, when you notice that the huge creature is still approaching.

Quote from: Buttons (Yarnspinner)
I use aquamancy to fill the pit with water, so I can swim to the top.

(4) Thinking of rain and waterfalls, you sit cross-legged on the ground and try to magically conjure up some water. It doesn't take long to actually get an reaction from your surroundings. Small holes start to open up in the walls of the pit and the ground your sitting on. Soon, water starts to pour in like in a swimming pool. After a while, the water reaches your neck(?) and you start to swim upwards. After another while, the water level reaches the top. Finally freed of this darn pit, you grab onto the side and pull yourself up to solid ground. Behind you the water starts to recede back into the cavity it came from. You stand up and take in a deep breath, only to lose your air a few seconds later when you turn around and spot the giant that is approaching base.

The colossal beast is still marching at a steadily pace towards the point where it last saw Richard, which was the base. You have the feeling it will get there very soon. It has already reached the center of town, ignoring anything around it while heading for the safe-houses. The creature is now visible to every person in the town and so is the HUGE blade it is holding.

Well, Hell. I don't know if we can really just keep running away, guys. But I also don't see how the hell we can even put up a real fight against it, muchless beat it. Anyone have any ideas?

Oh, and yeah, this is turning out to be a great RTD so far. And stop cursing that die, we need some help! :P

After McCoy and I do our super-duper arm-ripper handshake I'm going to try to be all stealthy and get somewhere where the giant can't see me, and away from a bunch of the uglies. I'm gonna focus like hell on enchanting this rock into releasing a brilliant flash when thrown and striking something, like a miniature sun. Hopefully not destroying the rock in the process, and keeping the enchantment that returns it to my hand.

Take the remains of the blade to the warp and ask it to make my blade the strongest sword it can. I have Shadow of the Colossus imitations to do.

I ask the Quantum-Supply for some climbing gear, like spiky shoes and gloves with excellent grip.

We are going to scale this Colossus and stab it in the glowing weak spot.

I really hope it has a glowing weak spot.

Oh, Vic, btw, shouldn't I have gotten a bonus to my attack roll due to my hammer of light?

I have... A Plan!!!

I command my parasite to use it's disguise to get near the colossus, then take over it's arm, leg, whatever. I will help it by distracting the colossus with illusionary foes.

Perfect! We shall scale this mountain colossus yet!

Oh yeah, in case this plan fails horribly, what's the death system like? Can we revive, or be zombies or something if we get a five?

@Para: Hmm, I guess you should've, but it's not like it would have made much of a difference. I'll just overlook my error this time. :P

@Faden: Well, since there's nobody on the waiting list, I'll guess you can try to revive somebody. Or I'll just respawn them in the next world. Depends.
