Playing awesome boss-battle music in the background to be inspired. :P

Turn 19

After McCoy and I do our super-duper arm-ripper handshake I'm going to try to be all stealthy and get somewhere where the giant can't see me, and away from a bunch of the uglies. I'm gonna focus like hell on enchanting this rock into releasing a brilliant flash when thrown and striking something, like a miniature sun. Hopefully not destroying the rock in the process, and keeping the enchantment that returns it to my hand.

(4+1) You and McCoy start doing your super-secret handshake of awesomeness. With some combinations and incredibly difficult hand-movements, you complete the sequence as imaginary firework pops up behind you while you two pose, making gang symbols that nobody ever saw before, because nobody knows about your secret group. Because it's secret. On a other note, after the two of you finish with your acts of ridiculousness, you and McCoy run into hiding. Taking out your rock of return, you think up a complicated but genius plan. This plan somehow involves a tiny stone. Don't ask me, it was your idea. Anyways, you put your rock on the floor and hold your hand over it. You start infusing energy into it, thinking of the sun that shines in the sky and the heat it gives off. A few minutes later, you stop and look at your "weapon". A little symbol looking something like a sun is engraved on the stone and glowing bright white. You pick it back up and feel like testing it. You throw it in a dark back alley. As soon as the small boulder leaves your hand, it turns into a burning, bright fireball. It actually manages to hit ... or rather burn right through an unfortunate Ugly that was standing back the. When it the (now actual) weapon hit the floor, it instantly returned to your hand in the form of an innocent, tiny rock.

Take the remains of the blade to the warp and ask it to make my blade the strongest sword it can. I have Shadow of the Colossus imitations to do.

(2) Still dying a little on the inside from the loss of your lovely blade, you decide something must be done. Taking the remains of the sword and holding on to them tightly, you make your way toward the start house. On your way you don't even pay attention to the giant creature marching through town. After pushing away several Uglies, you finally arrive at the house and go in. Looking around, you see the "portal" box that seems to have brought all of you here. You run up to it and ask it to repair your rapier. No response. You ask again, this time more intensively. No response. Portals can't speak. Duh. Having no success with the box, you go up to the Quantum-Storage and ask it instead. But it also refuses and gives you the Gantz-like response: "N0 m0r3 w34p0n5 f0r y0u!" You finally give up and shed one more tear for your weapon.

hmm i wonder... take scaletooth with me go into the sewers end try to find an exit behind the boss

(6) You keep Scaletooth close and start walking through the sewers. As you look around, you notice that the ground is littered with the corpses of Uglies. It looks like they have been run over and punched to death. Knowing that only somebody as huge as Gray could do this, you continue onwards trying to find him. After a while you get to the end, walking slowly like a sane person. You see Gray standing there with a broken ladder next to him. Making him do something productive, you tell him to get on Scaletooth. Then you order Scaley to walk up the wall with him so he can reach the hatch.

I ask the Quantum-Supply for some climbing gear, like spiky shoes and gloves with excellent grip.

(3) After having spotted the humongous monster approaching the base, you stare in awe for a few moments. Then you think of ways to kill it. 'Cause that's the dwarven way of thinking. See something you don't know? Try to kill it! So having developed your elaborate plan, you try to find some way of getting up the creature, so you decide to ask the Quantum-Supply for some climbing gear. Running out of the base and towards the safe-house at full speed, you manage to get there pretty quickly for your size. Inside you quickly run up to the storage and think of all the equipment you need. It quickly spits out the stuff you asked for with a minor problem: It's human-sized. You won't be able to use it since it's too big, but maybe someone else can? You also notice that Tybalt is sitting in the corner, crying while wobbling back and forth. It's kinda creepy.

I command my parasite to use it's disguise to get near the colossus, then take over it's arm, leg, whatever. I will help it by distracting the colossus with illusionary foes.

(2+1) Thinking up a quick plan to weaken the giant creature, you tell your parasite-friend to try to get close to the Behemoth and attack when he has the chance. Sending him off, you decide to help distract the monster a bit. Running infront of it, you use your powers as a Illusionist to create some illusionary people that start throwing stuff at it. But your skills seem to be a bit rusted from not having been used for so long and the illusion is so bad that the colossus doesn't even bother to do anything about his attackers. With the distraction not having worked too well, your parasite runs in anyway, trying to at least to SOME damage. (6) As he closes in, he turns around while still running and ejects himself from the back of his puppet's head. Flying towards the leg of the giant, he manages to use his trajectory to pierce the thick skin, once inside he quickly bites it into the leg muscle. The Behemoth suddenly comes to a halt. He looks at his leg, wondering why it's not obeying him. Suddenly it starts to lift itself high up, bringing the creature out of balance and sending him crashing to the ground. When it hit the stone, it quite literally caused an minor earthquake. After having succeeded in his mission somewhat, the parasite jumps out of the leg again and lands on the ground. He lies there, too exhausted to use his ability or even make it back to the corpse. (Parasite can't use his ability for 3 more turns)

After a renowned reverse somersault hand-flip handshake with Wemic I will head to cover and see what can be done about these bloody injuries

(2-2) After having finished your mega-extreme-quadriplegic handshake, you both seek cover. While Wemic seems to be occupied with turning a stone into a lamp, you decide to do something about the painful injuries that you have held out for quite some time now. Disabling your suit and pulling up your armor, you can see that quite some damage has been done. Knowing how awesome you are, you think that you can handle these all on your own. As one of the famous people once said: "Do what you do best, but if you're good at everything then rather let someone else do it." You should have considered this a little more before thinking about the OTHER famous person that said: "The only way to fight pain is with more pain.". So you punched yourself in the chest. Like a freaking idiot. Hope your proud of yourself for having made the injuries even worse. Here's your dunce hat!

Quote from: Buttons (Yarnspinner)
I run to the Behemoth and start shooting at his foot!

(2) Seeing this as your chance to go batshit insane, you start running towards the downed monster. As you go to the creature at high-speed, Wemic just finishes playing with his ball ... I mean rock. After having enchanted it, he sees you flailing your arms like an retard while going in for the kill. First he face-palms at your stupid idea and then grabs you from the back and pulls you to the little hide-out before you can successfully complete your suicide-run. Saddened by this turn of events, you sit down and look at Wemic angrily while turning you thumbs in circles because it's so much fun.

Quote from: Gray (Ninteen1145)
I thank Richard for the help and open the hatch.

(5) After being nice and polite by thanking Richard, you go for the door again. This time you have both arms free, so by using all your power, you manage to completely brake the little gate off. Through the hole you just created, a cabinet falls down into the sewers, missing Richard by inches, he yells up a few curses for almost killing him and you excuse yourself. After that, Scaletooth goes back down for a second, gets Richard and then brings both of you up through the hatch. You and your companion get off of Scaley and look around the place you just entered. It seems to be a house like any other, except for the fact that there's a weird symbol on the ground. It kinda looks like a 8-sided star and seems to be made from blood. You subconsciously start looking around if you can see and red-skinned guy with horns.

NPC Turn

Quote from: Behemoth
Behemoth angry. Behemoth not like be angry. Behemoth KILL!

(4) The Behemoth doesn't look very happy about the attack of the parasite. After regaining control of his stray leg, he gets up with a surprising ease, considering he's the size of a freaking skyscraper. Standing on his feet again, he spots Dragnar who used the whimsy illusions a few minutes ago. Finally doing something different that walking and staring at Richard, he decides it's time to take action. In the time-frame of a few seconds, he threw his arm around and the forward again, swinging right at Dragnar. (5+3-2) From his point of view, it must have looked like an jumbo-jet coming down on him. The sword went crashing right into Dragnar side, smashing him with the force of a nuke. Flying through about half the town and at least a dozen houses, he lands hard on the ground. Pretty much every bone in his body is broken and every joint dislocated, (3) but he's still alive. For now that is. Back in the center of town, the Behemoth looked at his homerun-swing and then turned back. He starts walking toward the base again, thinking of his opponent being dead already.

The first attack by the boss and somebody's ruffed up pretty badly already. Ouch.

Well, at least the die seems to be less lucky this time. Dunno if that's a good thing in your situation. :P

Doh, Dragnar! At least I have my precious, precious stone. I hope I don't kill us all with it. Hopefully we'll have some time to try and heal you but I think we need to use this time to hurt this thing some.

I'll leave the clothes for Tybalt.

Perhaps Mother Earth is in between spa treatments? It can't hurt to try. Probably.

I use terramancy to drive earthen spikes into the giant's feet, keeping him from moving.

What's up with this sudden loss of players?

Turn 20

Pretty birdies... *Passes out, hopefully speeding up healing*

(4) Not being able to feel any part of your "corpse", you think it might be a better idea to just go to sleep and let your body do what it does best. You feel your mind drifting off and everything becomes white. After passing out, you dream of running through fields of honey with nice bunnies ... that have giant swords and chase you. The casual kind of nightmare. In the real world, your body starts the natural healing processes, but injuries to this extent would take months to heal by natural causes. Guess you just gotta hope that somebody gets to you before the Uglies do.

Never one to let an enemy go unkicked while he is down, dashes outside, throws the stone at the Behemoth and runs into hiding

(2) Having heard the loud KRAWOOM and the earthquake that followed it, you conclude that Mr. Megamonster took a dive to the ground. Seeing this as your chance, you try to run out, but your feet won't move. After that sound it made just by FALLING, you're too scared to run out there. You still need those bones y'know. Looking down and clenching your teeth, you give yourself a inner motivational speech:
"Come on, I can do this all that training that I've did has been for this moment. Just a few seconds ago, I made a weapon that might be powerful enough to take that giant out! I can't just let this slide past, so let's get out there and destroy that thing for good!"
After having beaten your fear, you step outside and ... "Fu**." In the time it took you to hype yourself up, the Behemoth got back up again. A few seconds later he bashed Dragnar to the end of the world. Nearly pissing your pants after seeing what just happened to your companion, you run back into hiding as fast as your feet can carry you.

I use terramancy to drive earthen spikes into the giant's feet, keeping him from moving.

(6) Seeing that Tybalt seems to have gotten a little better, you hand him your climbing-equipment and instead make yourself useful in some other way. To get Tybalt up on that creature you have to immobilize it first. So how do you stop something from moving? By ramming huge freaking spikes through its feet of course! Deciding on this course of action, you wonder if Mother Earth is there. But now is not the time to think, but rather do. You run out and spot the giant monster again. Putting your hands on the floor, you try calling for the powers of Mother Earth, and this time she actually answers. Even though it seems like she's in a hurry. But nothing bad can come from that! Right? ... Right? Suddenly you see a field of spikes almost as big as the houses, shooting from the earth next to him. (Wemic: 3, McCoy: 5, Behemoth: 1-1) Being the near the monster when the spikes appeared, Wemic and McCoy were also in danger. For McCoy, who was already injured enough, luck seems to have felt sorry, so he was spared from being impaled. Wemic on the other hand was a little closer. Still, seeing the spikes rise from the ground, he managed to get away before he was ripped to shreds, but some spikes rose around him in a circular pattern, capturing him inside. The Behemoth on the other hand, being the huge monster he is, couldn't evade it in time. A lot of spikes went right through both of his feet, rendering him unmovable. He's pretty much pinned to the ground now, but he doesn't seem to care much.

I take the gear and run on the tops of buildings towards the Behemoth and attempt to make the arduous climb towards its head.

(2) You quickly take the gear that Opal gave you. Putting it on took some more time though. Taking the steady, spiked shoes and the sharp climbing-claws, you go outside. Then you notice that something seems to have changed. Hmm. Could it be that the sky has gotten a little be darker? Or has the wind picked up? Or could it possibly be the thousands of rock spikes that litter town everywhere around the giant creature? Meh. After what you've seen till now this is just a minor inconvenience. Or so you thought. You start walking through to labyrinth created by the sharp stones, trying to find your way to the Behemoth. But it's harder than it sounds. They create complicated networks of tiny tunnels, holes, and walls. Not being able to get to the monster towering above you, you think about making a map for this place.

Shout "MEDIC!"

(6-2) Still feeling the pain from your bad injuries, you call out. "MEEEDIC! ... Okay, okay. So you expect something to happen no? Out of nowhere a portal appears on the wall of a nearby house. Seeing it, you try crawling towards it to investigate. Suddenly something starts to emerge from the gateway. You can see a weird bulky shape coming out ... it seems to have wheels ... and some blue lights ... and a big red cross ... wait a second. A ambulance?! Yes, indeed! As soon as the wheels hit the ground, it starts driving towards you, coming to stop beside you. Giving it a weird look, you painfully stand up and walk to it. Out of nowhere a mechanical arm appears. It grabs you and lifts you up. A door opens on the side of the ambulance and you can see a hole behind it. It looks somewhat like the Quantum-Supply ... but just a bit different. The arm starts moving again and throws you in the hole. You try to stop yourself and holding on to the arm, but it's just too strong. When you enter the hole you feel nothing. Suddenly everything turns black. When the colors return to the world, you're lying on the floor. Sitting up, you look around and see that you're right back where you were before the car came. For some reason, getting up seems quite easy. Looking at your chest, it seems like all your wounds have magically disappeared! Just what was that thing?

me and scaley go after Dragnar be sure to grab a few pieces of wood to stabilize him.

(2) Not even paying attention to the symbol on the ground, you dash towards the door. But, before you are able to open it, a weird thing appears infront of it. A thin, semi-transparent, purple wall with some weird symbols on it, similar to the ones on the ground. As you try to touch it, a weird shockwave is emitted from it, pushing you back a few feet. Stopping yourself from falling, you wonder what just happened, when you see somebody standing at the other end of the room. It's a person wearing a long hood and holding a glowing dagger in his hand. You remember that Dragnar told you that he saw somebody fitting that description a whole while ago. (Turn 8 to be exact.) Carefully mustering the person, you try to communicate. "Hey, uhh ... who are you?" The man remains silent, not moving a inch. You think that he's one of the Uglies, so you run up to him and strike at him with your hammer. It comes to a halt in mid-air. Surprised, you see that the guy blocked your powerful strike with his dagger, using only one hand. Jumping back before he can do anything weird, you stare at him quite intensively. You're still unsure how somebody like him could block your artifact attack so easily.

Quote from: Gray (Ninteen45)
Seeing what just happened when Richard tried to attack, I'll restrain the hood-guy so he's easier to hit.

(1) With Richard's strike being deflected like that, you think that you have to keep that man from moving. With your mutant power that should be easy, right? So, you suddenly start running towards the man and try to get behind him. Before you even manage to get within a 3-foot radius of the enemy, he punches you in the stomach and sends you flying to the other side of the room. You crash right through the wall and find yourself in Town again. The hit with his unarmed fist was strong enough to throw you through the air. "Just what is this guy?!", you think to yourself as you sit back up. Being a huge mutant at least saved you from causing damage to yourself during your fall, but you're still full with rage and unanswered questions about this hooded-man.

Quote from: Buttons (Yarnspinner)
I shoot at the Behemoth with rocket-boost.

(1) Completely oblivious to anything that just happened, you find yourself in between a few stone spikes, blocking you off on three sides. On the open side there is a worse kind of blockade, the foot of the Behemoth. Climbing on to it, you look at your over-sized enemy, trying to decide whether you should really risk being made into minced meat. As you try to decide to determine where to aim, something comes in view from the side. (4) You turn your head to the side, just to see the Behemoth's sword swinging right at your face. Even in shock, you manage to drop to the ground just in time to keep yourself from ending up in pieces like Dragnar. After this close-call, you quickly jump down from his foot and go back into your little spike-cave.

NPC Turn

Quote from: Hood-Man
After Richard sees Gray flying through the wall, he looks back to the hooded man. For a second it looked like the guy was frowning after the wall was destroyed. Out of nowhere, a purple double-door appeared next to him and opened, seeming like it leads to nowhere. He stepped trough it, the door closing behind him and they disappeared.

Quote from: Behemoth
Foot hurt. Free foot. Smash puny people.

(3) With these giant spikes in his feet, the giant is pretty much grounded. Stuck on the spot, he's fed up with not being able to break more stuff, cause that's just what guys(?) like him like to do. So to get back his freedom, he starts pulling around on his foot, trying to free it. It takes quite some pulling, but he manages to break of the spikes in his left foot and pull them out. Strangely enough, no blood flows from his wounds and he quickly starts working on freeing his other one, but that will take a while.
