That's Mayday's site. He's got 40d version on it.

Good to hear from you Grim. If you need more time, no worry. ^^

Well, the MMO I play just took a huge shit on its playerbase. So expect to see me active in here everyday. Since I no longer have any fun MMOs to play.

And awesome. Our fort will become legendary. <3

There's a few ways to take screenshots, but the one I am comfortable with (on PCs) is this -

Make sure that what you want a screenshot of is visible, then press the print screen button.

Open your paint program, paste.

Crop the image so it shows only what you want shown, save.

That file can then be uploaded wherever you wish, and from there can be linked to in a forum or whatever.

Sometimes it's not spelled out fully, on my keyboard it's labeled Prt Scr/SysRq.

Most keyboards have it along the top row of the keys, near where the function keys are (The F1, F2, and so on ones are).  Usually it's to the right side of the letters, and in between the letters and the number pad.  For me, it's part of a row of three keys, Prt Scr/SysRq, Scroll Lock, and Pause/Break.  Below are the insert, home, page up and down keys.

Hope this helps!

For some reason I can never make screenshots in fullscreen mode, it just pastes a big black rectangle. Not such a big deal, as a 1920x1080 screenshot would be clumsy on a forum, but it might be useful to know it can do that.

Anyhow, got my game working, started up spearbrain, and... Oh my god furniture. FURNITURE EVERYWHERE. we have... 285 doors. whyyyy.....

Theres bedrooms that are like 4 times the size of the rest of the fortress, in a rather neat layout, but traveling will take ages with this desing. Plus the pathfinding grind... speaking of that, the random mining corridors seem a bit... random. You were trying to find the river?

Well it seems I got yet another marvelous mess to work with. Itll be fun :P

*grins*  If you read back over the previous players' posts, one of our people had started work on some grand designs, including a plan for 1000 bedrooms and numberous areas he expected to become workshops, possible interlinked with well placed stockpiles.  Not everything had been fully dug out by the end of that person's turn, but I suspect the quantity of furniture and doors was intended to be used for furnishing 1000+ rooms to come.

I assume many of us have made attempts to find that river - I know I did back when it had last been my turn.  "Scarring the mountain", the next player made referance to my efforts there ;p  I peeked at one of the recent saves, and the 'terrible wounds' I made in the mountain are still visible.

That would be me :P

And yeah, they are still there, along with many many more completely random furniture stockpiles, and a rediculously large animal stockpile (???). Most of the dwarves were just wasting time hauling things around. Started with removing the stockpiles, ordered most of the bedrooms to have doors, and started building a proper dining room (the current one is one giant room with some default quality stone tables and chairs looking rather lost in the middle of it).

Also someone dumped a huge pile of rubbish on the D, hahah. I might remove that if I feel generous.

Play the way you want to; it's your year!  *insert fireworks here*

Will you be doing storyposts?  In character reporting?  You dont have to at all, just wondering.

You have 3 options:
1. Fix my D.
2. Wait for my turn, then observe my awesome RP tirade about defacing the D.
3. Fix my D.
