Who doesn't like wolf blood?

Interestingly, it seems you can't resurrect a body unless it has at least one arm or a head. Could just be a fluke though, I'll have to test it out more.

It seems very dwarven to use the hell itself as a garbage disposal. I can just see this isolated pile of goblin clothing, rotten food, and chunks of animals sitting there in a featureless plain, slowly cooking in the heat as demons pick at it.

there was something about that in a future of the fortress post, about restrictions on what can be raised to avoid too much stuff being raised at once but allowing fun

Killed a mummy via decapitation, then raised the head. Interestingly, I could tear off all its limbs with a war hammer. Testing on living subjects is required

I retired my old character and made a new one. I went into the catacombs, killed like ten kobolds, got out, went to explore for a bit, and then I got ambushed by a bandit leader. In just a few seconds I had him unconscious, then I chopped off his head.

Remember my post about that Vampire with the 2000+ kills that I'm supposed to kill?
Remember that *Goddess* from bronzemurdered that teach dorfs how to fly?

Me and my group took a one-way flight off the building he was in, my poor guy didn't even see the building anymore when he landed exploded on the side of a mountain.

drink wolf blood (west)
"you drink the wolf blood"

takes a bath in stagnant water to wash of blood
drinks water left on hand and other body parts

woohoo, despite not having any armor, beside a little leather and cloth, this dwarven axelord is going wild! Due to inflicting ridiculously slow deaths any time he can he is now legendary fighter, shield user and master axe

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.

I have now wasted 8 adventurers with their 2 fortress friends on getting to a single necromancer tower.
Once upon a time i actually reached that tower in the middle of the night, got killed by night creatures.

Its like the freaking mountains of madness, only a tower instead.

Undead are pretty squishy, even if an attack doesn't land flush it's very likely to dismember them.

I just tried Adventure Mode for the first time.
Try #1: Killed by Were-Chameleons!?
Try #2: Got the Quest to avenge #1, succeeded, then killed by Bandits
Try #3: Killed by the same Bandits
Try #4: Slaughtered ~30 Dingos and 5 Wolves, then killed by those Bandits again >:(

I attacked a necromancer tower, killied most of the zombies and all the necromancers, raided their library, and learned the secrets of life and death.

Now my undead army is "recruiting" at a nearby hamlet.

EDIT:  One of my soldiers is trailing her animated guts behind her.  Totally rad.

You just found one of two things, 1. It's a night creature in disguise 2. It's a little girl playing fort. There are plenty of children and night creatures are dangerous so just to be on the safe side kill it with fire.

Same basic procedure except you should drink it's blood after you kill it.
