yeah... I just signed up for gametable, then it took 30 mins to load whatever the heck it was doing, and then nothing...

Well, I'd like to try how well IRC works. For those of you who don't have it, you can either download a standalone client (mIRC, HydraIRC, firefox plugin chatZilla) or download nothing and go browser-based (www.mibbit.com).

How to use a standalone client:
Type: /nick yournick
To change your nick
Type: /server newnet.net
This will connect you to the server irc.newnet.net (duh)
Now type: /join brutal dwarf
This will, guess what, join chatroom #brutal. It might be that you have to type #brutal instead of brutal. Dwarf is the password, so we have no random strangers joining.

How to use mibbit:
Go to www.mibbit.com
Launch Mibbit webchat
Change your nick
Click 'server', and type 'irc.newnet.net' into the server box.
Type /join brutal dwarf

You did it! To give you a chance to try this out, the channel will be open all day. I will be AFK, but if you can see my nick, you're good. Say hello so I know you found it ;)
