Council Members and Children move north to H3, taking the axes, knives, rocks, and hides. Council Members and Children pray to Amku for a good hunt.
H3 Gatherers equip axes and knives and gather berries.
5 H1 Hunters wear tunics.
H1 Hunters take all food and move north, then hunt.
H2 Gatherers take berries, then move north twice.

Ok cool I need to go to school but this looks sold. No idea we can gather in our base camp. Sorry. :-[

Heh damn, I've been designing a game along these lines for weeks now :P its a little complicated at this point. Wish I noticed this sooner, but if you have a waiting list I'd like to be added to it.
There is no waiting list. You may join as a hunter or gatherer, but it is up to the elders if they request additional elders to join them. Part of the fun in this game is deciding how the system of government works.

My lads! My dear, dear fellows! Might I request a small favor of you, that I be promoted to The Great Elder with double voting power?

Now, what makes you so great that you feel you deserve the title of The Great Elder, with caps and bold? I say no. This is a democratic system, and it should remain that way until my plans go through and I am elected Supreme Despot of All He Sees and Hears.

What a shame. Ah well, nothing left but to wait for the turn.

Also, I vote against Nirur Torir's title.

Ah, you know that was only a joke, right old friend? Of course I'll vote to make you The Great Elder.

I will spend my turn making a tent out of hide and wood.

I vote the gatherers gather lots of berries.
I vote the hunters hunt for another deer.

Ah, excellent! Thank ye kindly, my good sir.

I'm going to try and calculate hunter efficiency. This is going to be awesome.

Right, so before, we had total 35 berries and 25 meat.
This turn, we had 5 gatherers gather, which means 10 berries.
So we have 45 berries and 25 meat, without eating or hunting.
How we have 25 berries, which means that 20 people ate berries and 10 people ate meat.
So we have 25 berries and 15 meat.
Now we have 30 meat, which means that with Amku's blessing, which may or may not affect anything, our 10 H1 Hunters got 15 meat in 1 turn.

Next turn, I propose that we try this:

All gatherers gather both turns
All hunters hunt both turns
All elders and children perform prayer to Sudile for a good berry harvest

Hmm... I need a better way to represent people. When buildings and plot improvements come into play, the large letter/number combination will obscure too much...

We elders, our time being valuable, only have one AP per turn. Children, being young and easily distracted, also only have one AP per turn.

RNG:
So that was 2 votes for me being the Great Elder, right? I have double voting power now?
Will we need to build shelters and food storage?
Will axes help with gathering wood?
Will knives help with gathering berries?
Unless there any objections this turn, next turn you will become the Great Elder.
Buildings are not required by any means, but they can be very beneficial.
Axes will help with gathering wood.
Knives will not help with gathering berries.

In which case I'll become one of the hunters with both bow and armour.

RNG:
Here is my suggestion for representation: Use the Evolution Lite system of representing hexes. One green dot is up to 5 gatherers. One red dot is up to 5 hunters. One purple dot (nobles) is up to 5 elders, and one light blue dot is up to 5 children.
Squares can represent buildings - for example, a brown square could be a hut, a dark brown square could be a 2-level hut, a brown square with dark brown in the center could be a 3-level, and a dark brown with brown in the center could be a 4-level.

Nirur, I don't remember where it said that we have 1 AP, could you quote the post?
Also, we moved and prayed last turn, so... that's 2, right?
