I just got a huge-ass bunch of Unknown Interface Tokens in my errorlog. Help?

Are you using the 40d16 bundled version or the standalone?

EDIT: Just to clarify, if you're using the standalone it's very important you follow the Dig Deeper installation instructions, and starting with vanilla 40d16, delete your raws folder and replace it with the packaged one, then overwrite the previous data folder with the packaged one.  Delete the preexisting data/objects folder as well, and generate a new world.

I've changed a lot of existing tiles, so it isn't likely to play nice with some other mods.  Because I don't receive any errors from either the bundle or the standalone, I'm under the assumption that you're trying to install the standalone over an existing DF copy, and it's the cruft from the previous that's causing the errors.  Let me know if that isn't correct.

Hey mal,

I noticed you removed the colored backgrounds on the ground tiles-not a super big problem, but after playing with Mayday's tileset, I just absolutely love the vibrant backgrounds that the tileset provides. I was wondering if there was a way for me to bring them back or if you were planning on making an option for them?

The alpha translucency thing got lost when I converted it to a .bmp sometime in development.  Here's a version of the default with the translucency back (using tiles from RantingRodent's latest mock-up):

Let me know if that was what you were after.

That's it right there! It is a little bit darker than the normal Mayday, but still vibrant nonetheless! Thank you!  :D

Well, uh, read this thread to understand the situation I'm in.
So, well, what do I do?! Information about where the queen spawns and such would be helpful.

...Why isn't there a 40d option? d16 won't work on my computer, and d17 /18 are very buggy.

It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

Because no one asked.

All that would be required to run under 40d is to use a .bmp version of the tileset, sans alpha nonsense.

Here you go.  Enjoy.

Hey there guys. Loving the mod. However I seem to be getting a hell of a lot of ctd's with this version. On vanilla never had any, and on the previous version of this I played for a couple days I only remember it happening once after a long play session. Now its become almost like every half hour to any hour and is making progress difficult, as keep needin to manually save or if I forget having to redo an hours worth of playtime. My error log reads:

path fail: goblin,0,277,15 -> 187,10,16: Id #10500:Path Goal Mischief:Station Invalid at 0,277,15
path fail: goblin,109,0,16 -> 187,10,16: Id #10499:Path Goal Mischief:Station Invalid at 109,0,16
path fail: goblin,25,0,15 -> 187,10,16: Id #10498:Path Goal Mischief:Station Invalid at 25,0,15
path fail: goblin,109,0,16 -> 187,10,16: Id #10499:Path Goal Mischief:Station Invalid at 109,0,16
path fail: goblin,25,0,15 -> 187,10,16: Id #10498:Path Goal Mischief:Station Invalid at 25,0,15
path fail: goblin,0,277,15 -> 187,10,16: Id #10500:Path Goal Mischief:Station Invalid at 0,277,15
path fail: goblin,109,0,16 -> 187,10,16: Id #10499:Path Goal

Thats just a snippet but the same error is reported all the way down.
Not sure if this is whats making the ctd's happen or what not.
Anyone else having any issues?
Any help rectifying this would be great thanks.

Goblins still have a [MISCHIEVOUS] tag, which they shouldn't.  I was screwing around with incorporating Relentless Assault, I guess I left that change in there by mistake.

It's creating a pathfinding bug, so feel free to remove it.  Open up raw/objects/creature_standard.txt and delete the [MISCHIEVOUS] token from the [CREATURE:GOBLIN] entry.

The next scheduled update is tomorrow night, so if you aren't comfortable editing the raws you won't have to wait long for a fix.

Completed Templar sprite sheet preview.  Filled in the last few sprites Kivish hadn't finished.

To do:  Finish job sprites for orcs and dark elves.

I had a steel great axe that was bugged. It keeps getting dropped and the dwarf then spent an eternity trying to pick it back up. This wasn't an issue at first, in fact my Woodcutter actually managed to cut down about a hundred trees with it. However, at some point he developed butterfingers and it simply would not stay in his inventory. I tried with multiple dwarves and the result was the same. I even drafted the woodcutter and still the same. In the end I went into the raws and gave it the same stats as a regular axe. It got picked up then.

Seems dwarves have problems with the size of the great axe.

Tolkien had a great secret: The dwarves of Moria didn't dig too deep. A prominent dwarf with lots of friends started tantruming and, well, you figure out what happened next.
