If we're talking about mods, I'll step in to recommend Solid & Shade. It's amazingly detailed story wise and has a ton of content. I'd elaborate but I'm on mobile.
Also, content warning: mild edginess.
On a scale of movie venom Spiderman to Shadow the hedgehog, how edgy is it?
Well, the basic conceit is that you're playing a necromancer with all the bells and whistles (although you're free to subvert it in a number of ways, especially in the latest release where you're allowed to play hero), and there are abundant very direct Poe references among others.

It still plays as open-ended as vanilla, so you're not forced to do anything, and even in the shamelessly villainous route, you're not explicitly doing much worse ethically than you could in vanilla, unless you count graverobbing as much worse than premeditated murder. That you might use their corpses and organs to create an army of zombies and demons is just tangential. For me it's more mildly amusing at some lapses in self-awareness than irritating, so I'd say Venom.
Where do you get these mods. @_@ Is M&B/:W being updated in their versions as of late? Because all of mine are downloaded and such.
The steamworkshop are not the place you go for M&B:W mods. You go to The Taleworlds forum.

The Worshop is basically only good for things that need to be up to date on a constant basis. Almost universally meaning MP-only mods.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

I love that you can now use murder holes properly.

Lots of One-Hit-Kills in that, though. Wonder if the game is actually going to be that way or if it'll be more like Warband where everything but top gear weapons against low armored troops takes a few hits.

I hope it won't be all One-Hit-Kills. I mean, medieval combat was fucking brutal but armour existed for a reason.

You won't have to worry about that.

Mount & Blade had an armor system (albeit, not perfect, but it was alright). He was just slaying those people because he kept getting headshots and was probably using a cheated character.

Yeah, they were straight up cheating on the first siege demo (character had like 300 hp) so they where probably cheating or using a really op character for this one as well.

Considering the player seemed to have infinite ammo on his bow, they were using at least one cheat.

Not to mention every single person who's ever played mount and blade would have cheated at some point. It's just way too fun to be a ridiculous super juggernaut.

I second that, but I try to keep the cheating to a minimum most games. I find I don't cheat that often after I made a ridiculously high leveled 'legacy' character that I import into every game I start now. He started his legacy in vanilla Diplomacy, carried his skills through the Floris Expanded Mod Pack, honed his leadership through Sword of Damocles Warlord and used all his immense strength to dominate Prophecy of Pendor. He still exists on my HDD somewhere, but I didn't use him in mods that drastically change the game, such as Viking Conquest or Brytenwalda.

Ah yes, the insatiable lust of corn and rice, clearly two of the most erotic foods.

I hoped this was actually some kind of siege defense thing, that you can now resupply ammo or someshit, because, well, I suppose defenders would have a bit more arrows than just ~25 per person.

You totally could resupply ammo in sieges.

Let your archer friends get killed, then use their arrows.

When they're having difficulty dying of natural causes, you can "accidentally" shoot your men in the head to restock on arrows as well.

Alternatively, grab the arrows sticking out of the wall that the enemy put there.
