@Forsaken
The hard part about big arguments is that the players don't notice them. They are great while you are trying to decide whether your target is scum or not, but once you are done you'll need to pull back and come to the town fresh, knowing they didn't listen to you. That the argument really didn't show scumminess since it was a theory battle made the whole thing worse: It made sure Neruz wouldn't have to bother with real scumhunting since he was focused on you.
Which helped us a lot since Neruz was our ace-in-the hole.
About the Web lynch
I HATED that one. I wanted to go after someone else, but then web threw something that I knew town-dakarian would jump on and..well.. had to jump on it. I knew that if I suceeded that it would put a ton of suspicion on me, but meh.. what can you do. By Day 2's end I planned to die.
That's why my Day 3 looked scummy.. and why I chose Vig as my claim. I wanted the town to focus on me and either fall to pieces or lynch me. I felt that if I was lynched, Leafsnail would be next, which would be the 1 townie we needed to die. It would also make sure everyone focused on me and not the others.
So you were half right..the dopps WERE covering for a high powered role with a sacrifice. I, however, was the sacrifice. Neruz was the role holder and RedWarrior was our back-up in case things went ugly.
Sidenote: that made forsaken the one we were most concerned about. I was obvscum, Toony was spotted during the MC, but Forsaken kept on about Neruz. If Neruz was lynched first, the rest of us would fall falt, leaving it to RedWarrior to keep things alive.
