@SirBayer
The problem people are having is the reaction more than the original question.
Your question was a valid and normal randomquestion via a random vote.
The question and vote done on you was THE SAME THING: a random question and a random vote. It meant as little as your vote did. The idea is that we all get voted on and vote for others.
The problem: Instead of answering the question, or simply waiting until you CAN answer the question, you paniced:
Don't look at me, Orbish. I'm still trying to figure out. Gimme some time.
This is not a person who knows that the vote on him was Random and thus has no meaning. Your response shows that you are worried about dying.
Your question was NOT a scumtell.
Your worry about being lynched "IS" a scum tell. Townies are always dying all the time. They don't lose when they die. They worry more about the scum surviving and winning. Thus Townies are supposed to not worry about dying so long as they can keep hunting.
Scum, however, are very FEW in number. They can't just sacrifice themselves easily. As such, they are more prone to want to live.
Thus, not being worried about dying is a town tell. Trying to save your own hide is a scumtell.
In other words, you can ask your question, but stop panicing over getting voted on and attacked. Just tell your case and keep hunting. Hunt until eithe the scum die or you die.. but keep hunting even if it kills you.
As for me, I like to brag that I'm good at catching NewTells and not reading them as ScumTells. You are flinging NewTells left and right. As such, I don't believe you are scum for acting that way. I need you to get to scumhunting though so I know WHAT you are.
The fellows aren't so practiced in NewTells.. If you keep being defensive, you'll be lynched.
