I probably would if it weren't for a lack of knowledge about the universe, and a distinctly better writing ability required.

Why not?

Well... why is it not good, rather than why have you not been around.
Because I should be helping.

'tain't your responsibility, man. You are incapable of dealing with the problems of the world.

It always really sucks to find a forum game on Spacebattles or SV that has great writing, great characters, etc. and just dies inexplicably. Couple of years old, author disappeared without saying anything and never posted again, etc. I guess that's the risk with forum games; novels aren't usually published while being written, with the chance that the author stops writing them. As a literary person, it just really hurts to have half a story and never know how it turns out.

Indeed. I recently read that fanfic on an elf and imperial assassin getting together. The truncated ending was rather disappointing.
If you're talking about Love Can Bloom, I'm pretty sure there were some more stories written by fans. Fanfic for fanfic, as it were.

* Sirus does the flip-flop hand gesture

Like I said, they're basically a fanfic's fanfic. A lot of it isn't great, and even the better selections have lots of in-jokes and memes. 4chan being 4chan, there's also plenty of porn.
Probably about the best I can say about it all (from an "aww that's a happy ending" perspective, at least) is that they wind up having a kid together.

I doubt it's CTS, since the pain starts mid-forearm, and not wrist, but it still hurts a lot.

I've had it since last Thursday, but it didn't start hurting until late yesterday. I'm not even left-handed, but it being sore made work a lot harder than normal. It feels like my bones are creaking when you move my arm, which is a really strange sensation. My mom's solution was to put a tensor bandage on it.

I should probably tell my boss, but I need the work, and we're understaffed as it is.
Well, that could be anywhere from a sore muscle to a repetitive strain injury. The creaking is a bit alarming though, so if you can, do get it checked out. If it's just a sore muscle, no problem, but tendon injuries take a LONG time to heal, and DO NOT get better by tanking through the pain. I've no intention to cause any undue worry, i just don't want other people having to deal with an RSI if i can help them avoid it. It's painful, it's annoying, it's boring and it's a severe hindrance to many hobbies and jobs, and if you're unlucky, it can last for years.

THAT SAID, do give it a few days and see if it doesn't subside. It could just as well be that i'm worrying excessively on your behalf. :v

My sad for today is that I strongly suspect (and I am sort of a self taught expert on this) that I have broken my crippled hand again. Seems like the pinky bone is swollen and severely painful to touch. Feeling it right now, the bone is about 1.5 times larger in the middle than is normal.

Oh and my mental health is concerning. Extreme rage, mood swings, depression, eye twitch developed, stress, insomnia and bruxism, and all of this without any drugs in months.

Thanks, fucking sobriety.

Burning has turned into a low smoldering in the bottom of my guts. uuuugh, hate when I get like this over people. Hate it hate it hate it.

I'm hungry but I don't feel like eating anything. I'm pretty sure I could stand to lose some weight, anyway. At least I managed to clean up and visit some friends today, hey, "always look on the bright side of life"

My wife has been pushing me to go to the doctor for about a month now and I was resisting. Not sure why. Gonna make an appointment today.

...Youve been feeling like your hand was rebroken for a month and haven't gone to the doctor? For fucks sake, hanslanda, I know it worked last time - apart from the constant pain you were left with -  but you don't get that kind of luck twice, man: P

I have my wife making the appointment for me. I have a bad habit of not making/going to my doctors appointments. I also am writing up a list of all the symptoms I have had.
