Old lady at work still thinks I stole her phone, despite the boss finding it around where she lost it. She's convinced that either I brought it back to cover my tracks, or that God did it to foil me. Still, at least no one is taking her side.

Today was not nice.
Today was not nice either.
It doesn't look like it's going to get much better in the remaining 6 hours.

Ah, yes, the ol' "God helped me find my keys/phone/dildo!" thing.

Apparently she's important enough for God to take a direct impact on her life and teleport a small electronic device from your pocket to the same place she left it (of course, making it look like nothing changed, but SHE knows better!) but, you know, starving children, people locked in basements by serial killers, they're not important enough for random teleportation of needed wanted objects :v

Byond has a number of games on it that are not Space Station 13.

One of them was a small and somewhat simplistic game called "The Last Conflict", about fighting zombies. Obvious inspiration was taken from Resident Evil, including the existence of Crimson Heads, character skins of the various Resident Evil Characters, a Healthy-Fine-Serious-Critical-Poison health system, and guns that were from the series, like the Samurai Edge, among various other details.

Of course, the gameplay was not like Resident Evil at all (more like a contest as to who can shoot more bullets), but it was still fun for me.

Today I checked on it.

There was a single player on it.

RIP The Last Conflict

Although my hair's long right now, it's been pointed out today that my hairline is starting to recede. My brothers all lost their hair very early and now have shaved heads. I do not want that. I want to have long, messy hair forever. :(

A fun little thing is that if we assume that a "miracle" is defined as a 1 in a million event, and you witness 1 "event" every second, then you should be witnessing a "miracle" every couple of months, just based on statistics.

Also reminds me of that one quote:
Quote from: Interesting Times (Discworld)
When someone survives due to a sequence of freak events we call it a miracle. But when someone dies due to a sequence of freak events, that's also a miracle. Just because it isn't nice, doesn't mean it's not miraculous.

If it's just going back on your forehead, don't think of it as losing your hair. Think of it as growing the ultimate mullet.

After failing a few classes at college and possibly failing them again this semester I've considered dropping out and going to a community college for a semester or two to get my GPA back up and maybe change majors.

Sad because I know this will make my parents disappointed and because failing college classes over again is freaking depressing.

I think I caught the flu. Feel like crap. Haven't had a flu in ages, I guess it was about time for a immune system training session. Still feel like crap.
