I feel like I can't hold an audience like I used to. Like, I've flaked on too many things and now people don't want to get invested when I start something new.

It's a weird feeling waking up pissed.

Especially when you have no idea why.
Umm... did you drink a lot immediately before going to sleep? [/australian]

It's so fun. Being fascinated with ways to destroy the world, I mean. [/sarcasm]

Sarcasm aside, eschatology is an actual (soft) science. People wouldn't study them if they weren't fascinating, and I'm pretty sure some eschatologists enjoy their job.

Waiting until week 9 (of an 11-week quarter) to give me this news, apparently one of my classes is a dupe of one I took earlier in my college career, and so is an invalid repeat. I get no credit for it, and must drop it immediately, on pain of academic probation. Which will put me well below the unit minimum, and thus on academic probation.

Today was not a good day. I'm not sure why, but it really wasn't, and I'm way more stressed than I even realized I was. How odd.

Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.

I am feeling very sick. I can already tell that I'm either going to puke or have diarrhea. Fuck everything.

Gah. I hate waking up in a pool of my own blood. Stupid nose-bleeds. I guess cauterization doesn't actually stop them.
This is why I had to buy red bed-sheets...

And I missed an entire week of commitments due to a series of unfortunate events.
Sorry. :(

Edit: I tried to make hot chocolate and the milk exploded and I got scalding liquid all over the kitchen. Whelp.

I, uh, would hug you two, but I don't want to get puked/bled on.
Get better soon/hope it stops happening.

Haven't been sleeping great lately, and I must have dosed off for a minute at my desk at work. Apparently someone took a photo of it and has been circulating it. Only reason I know is my supervisor messaged me to say she'd heard the rumour, and that I should be aware people are watching me and if I need to doze off do it in private somewhere. Apparently it's perfectly cool to take photos of me and circulate them mocking me. yay.

She's away for a few days, but that's my plan. She didn't handle it great, but I have a pretty good rapport with her at the same time.
Basically got a message from her yesterday (she's out of town doing training), saying she'd heard rumours about the pictures circulating, and if I need to rest my eyes do it elsewhere people are watching you. Want to talk to her still instead of going straight to HR.
