I can't wear fedoras :( Or hats in general really.
How am I supposed to show the m'ladies how euphoric I am?
Glue a fedora to the crotch of all your pants, and keep them unzipped at all times. If you are as euphoric as you say, the sight of a woman's breasts, no matter how thoroughly clothed, will cause such a throbbing erection as to waggle the hat a bit, simulating a tip.

I was not sad today. I was not sad until I opened this thread and read this post.

That mental image is glorious.

On a very thoroughly unrelated note, my temper is once again causing domestic trouble.

Been feeling down all day.

I wonder if I'm doing ok. Am I living my life correctly. Will things work out ok. Am I making the right choices, the right decisions, using my time efficiently, etc etc. I thought I found a major I was interested in and had a plan or what to do about it for the next couple years and I'm already having doubts, and it hasn't even been a year since I chose the major and made said plan.

Basically it's been a "what am I doing with my life" day today.

Hrm. Sorry about that. Just so I can try and improve for the future, would you mind letting me know what it was about the post that caused you sadness?

@Spehss_
You're doing okay. Doubts are a thing, they happen. Keep in mind - "not according to plan" is not equivalent to "badly". No plan survives contact with the enemy, which in this case is life in general. That's okay - you can still win your battles. You have to keep pushing along and adapting, but you can do that.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Dang. I always pegged you as such a chill guy.
I think kids shred patience, though, or such was the idea I got from my mother.

Either way, needs more horrific phallic hat-wiggle-mental-images.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

It's not really the kid, at least not fully.

Mostly it's from two hard-headed people living together.

But also it's easy to appear chill online, when in actuality, I've had anger issues for... a long time.

This is true for all food purchases where one has a chance to preview the product in any way. Damn grocers sometimes don't remove, say, moldy bread from the shelf, or notice one of the milk jugs is leaking all over the place, or that carton of eggs with a moist spot on the bottom because one was cracked.

I have too many WTFs, the WTF thread can't keep up.
Although I suppose this one kind of counts as a sad, too...

Nevermind.

Sad to see the Happy thread close down. Got enough other crap going on as it was, thought I'd get a nice pick-me-up, and show off some of my trip while at it. About the sad stuff/annoying crap, not really willing to disclose details, mainly to not have it perpetuate itself by mentioning it. Plus, I'm already getting over it.

In any which case, I hope you feel better Gunner-Chan. Shit happens; we can either have it smell up the place, or turn it into fertilizer, and make it useful, or throw it into a fan, and watch it... eh, nevermind.

Anyway, I hope you feel better, regardless what happens. Whether you return or not, live on, if possible.

EDIT:
It lives again?! Thanks. And I still mean what I say. Live on, regardless. I've been through Hell, and still came out the other side of it, forged by the flames, not burned by them. I let those flames burn off impurities and/or slag them off.

Way too much drama right now. Both IRL - in three places by now - and online as well, it seems.

(Again: If anyone's got LSP's contact info, please shoot me a PM. I'd hate to lose contact.)
