Having to deal with Outfit members from Planet Side 2 in TS using terms like f-ggot and then starting out a sentence with "This might sound racist, but..." If you start any sentence off like that, it is going to be racist. Just stop whatever you were going to say because you're assumption at that point is that the other people you are talking to will either not tell you how racist it is, or are also racist.

And yes I told the dude to stop whatever he was going to say. To which we ended up having a restrained, but civil conversation over things like tolerance not including being tolerant of intolerance and whether or not stereotypes exist for a reason.

I absolutely hate funerals and as you can guess from this, had cause to attend one.... Longtime neighbor, kept to herself, never bothered anybody, quite a wonderful type of neighbor if you ask me. Dead....

I just managed a relatively quick in and out. Made sure to briefly talk to some of her relatives I knew by name, offer condolences etc. Having depression and being around funerals ... not a good mix really. Can't emotionally deal with it right now. Into escapism I guess? [sigh]. I don't know.

I'm not racist, but I wish McDonalds would stop with cycling the McRib in and out of circulation for hype.  They should either keep it or not.

I like spiders, I usually catch them and take them outside because my cat kills them. She's like a spider serial killer. She bops them on their head until they die, sometimes pulling off the legs first. It's awful.

Just get a cup and capture it and put it outside. I mean unless it's this kind of spider...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Then you'll probably get baby spiders all over you, but that sounds kind of cute, actually.

It was a hobo spider. Which is to say, a large and ill-tempered roaming spider with necrotizing bites.

Fortunately, my grandad has rescued me. I can now go upstairs again!

EDIT: Lost connection to steam :(

I've never heard of those, are they like brown recluses?

Yea I don't want to get bit by something like that. I've seen the results, during my periodic forages for internet gore.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobo_spider

Don't listen to the article's ambiguity on their venom, though. I've seen what happens when one gets into a sleeping bag. Not sure if it's actually necrotic but it definitely causes lesions.

You sure it wasn't a brown lacruse?

I'm sure. Brown recluses don't live West of the Mississippi, and they aren't nearly as aggressive.

New sad: helped my grandparents with the dishes. Shouldn't be sad but it wouldn't have occurred to me to do so if my mom hadn't told me to.
