Mrr... My ability to date is nil. It's a hard situation to explain, but I had been friends with a girl since I got to college and successfully asked her out on a date this year. And apparently failed to do enough follow up despite periodically find the time to go see her to get coffee or hang out. She is now officially seeing someone else who I didn't even know was interested in her.

I'm more or less just... Ich weiss nicht. My mistake was thinking something was there when there just wasn't. I'm not particularly hurt by this since we never defined what kind of relationship we were having. Deflated or sad would be better describe my emotional state right now. Disappointed is another fine adjective.

Arrgh, this anxiety. I know for a fact that my calculus exam is this evening but I can't shake the worry that it was yesterday and I missed it when I was sick, and will fail the class as a result. It's an absurd thing to worry about, and the 3/4 of the exam will be high school freshman tier probability and the rest will be indefinite integrals. I have a solid handle on all of that stuff and the test was most assuredly not yesterday, so why does it bother me so damn much?

If you were sick go to your GP and ask for a note about it. most reasonable universities will accept that as a justification
