Well, the chemotherapy for my dad is very definitely just going to be palliative.

Still, I was expecting this, so it's not made things much worse.
Yeesh. My condolences, man. That's news just about nobody wants to hear.

Why does Telltale have to make such good stories? I'm on the last chapter of The Wolf Among Us and I don't want it to end so soon ;__;

The past 2 nights, by the time I get home, my back has hurt so bad that I haven't been able to do anything. I couldn't even set the laptop in front of me while laying down, it was so bad.

Having a tough time getting a good nights sleep for the past few days. Doesn't matter when I go to bed I wake up stupidly early anyways, be it from noise or some other reason I don't know. So I'm generally feeling tired.

Add to that a broken computer and everyone expecting me to magically fix it and getting all pissy and passive agressive when I can't or when it turns out that their data might be lost and it's somehow my fault again, even if I don't actually use the damn thing.

I really hate being tech savvy (well not really even that, just the savviest in the household) sometimes (most of the time).

Edit:

Oh hey, my mom has finally said that she thinks I'm wierd because I don't hang out with people all the time and instead play games all the time. Now, this might have been true a while ago but nowadays it isn't. But hey, I've been home four days, none of which I've spent inside, despite the constant rain. The only time I was inside was in the evening and didn't feel like dealing with people because I was with them the whole fucking day. And even that was just two days.

I am procrastinating. What am I procrastinating doing? My hobby. Why? I have no idea.

Procrastination is not just a thing you do, it is a way of life.

If you're procrastinating on a hobby then take a break and come back later.

This. A hobby shouldn't have to be made into a chore.

I'm trying to come back to it. Hell, I even wrote in my game-writing-thread asking for suggestions on what to work on. The game is...intimidating to work on. I don't know how Toady does it.

Oh. Yeah, starting to do a thing again after a while of not doing it is hard. Just start slow and try to get back into the hobbypun of doing it.

Have it, game's okay. Story ( what's there at least ) is fairly interesting. But the combat is slow as hell, current trade routes are inefficient, and huge swaths of the map are missing

This happened in dwarf fortress:

An infant is lying dead in a pool of it's own blood, and it's mother, a macedwarf, is trying to find it. It's especially sad, because the mother hasn't eaten or drank anything or gotten any sleep since the baby went missing.
