Optimal operating temperature for facepunching is 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Facepunchers do not operate in Celsius or Kelvin.

You people are insane. :-X
* Yoink is a total wuss when it comes to cold.
Yeah. 20 degrees Celsius is enough to have me freeze to death.
I consider 20 to be way too warm.
-5 to 15 is where I'm comfortable. But even 15 is pushing it when I'm trying to sleep.

But yeah I prefer weather where it's reasonable to wear a jumper but not a coat. Though of course there is no such thing as coat weather, making this definition completely useless.

I completely agree.

All weather is coat weather
It is not cold enough for a coat when hell freezes over.

I hiked in Death Valley wearing my coat. Though to be fair, that was in the winter.

According to the internet, winter temperatures range from average lows of 3 to highs of 18 degrees. So that's probably mostly liveable. Though not with a coat on.
That's like long-sleeved t-shirt and thin jumper at worst. And at 18 that's pretty much naked weather.

That heavily depends on the coat. A light cotton coat with a regular t-shirt might be more comfortable than your setup, since a jumper lies closer to the skin.

Also, which system we're talking, Fahrenheit or Celsius?

Sounds like celcius. It was very near the end of winter, though, so it was in the 70s-80s range all day. I wear a big greatcoat wherever I can get away with it.

I only really function at 20 Celsius or above. Below that, I'm in "shiver my ass off to generate heat" mode.

My comfort zone would be 25-30C (77-86 F). Lucky for me, we hit that by April and don't get below that with any regularity until October. And sometimes not even then. I've seen it be 80+ degrees on Halloween.

Currently, it's a balmy 35C. Warm enough to enjoy walking to the mailbox and back (and burning my hand on the inside of the mailbox), but not something I'd want to stay out in for a long while.

Well this has been a spectacularly shitty day, for a number of reasons I either don't want to talk about, or can't really talk about.

And in case this winds up being my last post, it's been fun you guys. You guys have seriously helped me deal with so much shit, and have done so much to help prevent me going insane from lack of talking to people.

I'm just sorry I haven't given back as much as I've gained.

Well... do come back, if you're able. Good luck with endeavors, if not.

In own sads, just got solid confirmation the battery on this laptop is completely shot. Lappie is now entirely dependent on charger for power. Bleh.

Evidently, I have been sternly informed that I, "will not dictate how the cat food is put out!"

[smirk] :)

I just can't even without laughing.

"You will not dictate how the cat food is put out!"

*Please note that the image above is Charlie Chaplin in the film "The Great Dictator" which made fun of HJitler and led to this impassioned speech.

I have no idea how Celsius works.

Also, I just remembered that I have to go see the psychologist or whatever the hell they call themselves today.
Ugh.
